  • Really nice!

"It really is just like in the photos. Access and parking in the back. Beautifully maintained, clean and very comfortable. Beds were more comfortable than home and there were only 4 of us so we had lots of room to spread out. Washing machine was extremely convenient and location in the town is perfect. The owner and manager both provided wonderful customer service. The town closes down really early during the week, so the kitchen was great. And the bike and hike trails are worth the trip. I would go back, and definitely recommend."

  • Super Superbowl Weekend at Seven Springs!

"We had a great 5 day 4 night stay at Seven Springs. After 15 years of staying at the lodge we decided to try renting a condo. We are so glad we did! Our family of 5 had an awesome time. Our friends rented the adjoining condo next door. They had a 3 bedroom unit and let one of my son's sleep there. The other 2 kids slept on the pull out sofa bed. The condo was spacious and we had plenty of room to spread out. We saved money by cooking our meals in the well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed nightly happy hours at the pub table overlooking the slopes. Watching my kids ski and snowboard out the window was awesome! We had great ski conditions. It snowed 3 of the 4 days! Having a washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient. It was so much better than lugging dirty laundry down to the laundromat at the Foggy Goggle everyday! We really enjoyed the Ski in/Ski out option. The kids were able to come in for lunch and dinner and head back out for more skiing and snowboarding. The 24 hour shuttle was also very convenient. The kids were missing the Slopeside breakfast buffet so we let them take the shuttle down to the lodge one morning to eat. The condo was well stocked with towels, pillows, sheets and blankets. Everything was perfect! I don't think I will ever stay in the hotel again! Thanks for a great stay Diane!"

  • Enjoyable trip to the mountains

"Our family of six had a wonderful time in this lovely home. It was a great size for us & it had all the necessary items to allow us to feel very comfortable. The home is clean & well maintained. The homeowner was friendly & very easy to work with. The dining room table was the perfect place for family board games. Loved that the kitchen, family room, & dining room were open & allowed for family time even if we were doing different things. Would definitely recommend this home for family trips!"

Philadelphia & Its Countryside Travel Tips

Reaching the Heart of Philadelphia Could not be Easier

Reaching your Philadelphia area vacation rentals, around the area that gave birth to the American Revolution, could not be easier. Philadelphia has an international airport and is on three Interstate highways, I-95, I-76 and I-676, the Vine Street Expressway. As with all major cities, it has an excellent road system to make getting in and around the city straightforward. Choosing Philadelphia area condos puts visitors at the center of the original 13 colonies, in a city that was once the nation’s capital.

Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love, is known for hot summers, mild falls and springs, and cold winters, with an average snowfall of 20.5 inches.

Philadelphia: One of America’s Most Historic Cities

Most visitors to "Philly" head to the Liberty Bell Center to see one of the main symbols of the American Revolution, the Liberty Bell. There is a wealth of history waiting to be discovered. Visit the site of the meetings of Congress and the Constitutional Convention at the City Tavern in the Old City as well as Carpenters Hall where delegates met in 1774 to speak out against the King. In Declaration House, visitors can see where Thomas Jefferson drafted the Declaration of Independence and Independence Hall where it was eventually signed. A huge variety of museums awaits visitors, covering everything such as natural sciences, African American history, science, archaeology and anthropology.

Children will enjoy a day at the "Please Touch" Museum. While here, explore Christ Church Burial Ground. Dating from 1695, the cemetery is the final resting place of Benjamin Franklin. Another fascinating tour can be taken at Eastern State Penitentiary to visit the cellblocks, solitary cells, Al Capone’s cell and Death Row. For a sightseeing tour with a difference, take a splash in the Delaware River and Ride the Ducks. There are also several wonderful gardens and arboretums to visit here. A visit to the Battleship USS New Jersey is worth a trip. Do not miss a trip to Valley Forge National Historic Park, site of the famous battle of 1777/78. Children will be enthralled with the "Once upon a Nation" tour to this historic area.

The city center is a great for shopping and includes grocery stores operated by Amish farmers selling fresh local produce. Visitors should not leave without having tasted the famed cheese steaks that originated here.

Incredible Sights and Adventures on Your Doorstep

Within a short drive of Philadelphia area resorts, visitors can tour several local wineries and vineyards. Children will also enjoy Sesame Place, a theme park based on the TV show with 14 acres of rides and attractions. In Delaware County, Linvilla Orchards features 300 acres of education and recreation. Longwood Gardens with its children’s programs, woodlands and gardens also makes for a wonderful day out. Families looking for outdoor adventures should head to Ridley Creek State park for biking, horseback riding and fishing. At Washington Crossing Historic Park, enjoy the surroundings and visit the site where George Washington led his exhausted soldiers across the icy Delaware River to attack the Hessians at Trenton. Enjoy a day at Tyler State park where the original farm has combined with beautiful woodland to create a wonderful recreation area.
