  • Always a pleasure to stay here

"This is our fourth or fifth trip to Ross Mill Farm's lovely cottage. It's a one-of-a-kind cottage built in the 1600s, and they've gone to great lengths to maintain the charm, quaintness, and peace of the past while providing enough modern amenities to make it an absolute dream. Staying in this beautiful cottage aids in restoring the soul and provides a time away from all the usual frazzle of everyday life. My husband and 8 year old daughter both love it, too--and so does our dog! We had visits from an adorable dog from the farm and often had pot bellied pigs stopping by to say hello and munch on grass or curl up for a nap. Tucked away in the woods, yet close enough to shopping, New Hope, and other points of interest. Our family highly recommends the cottage at Ross Mill Farm, and we intend to continue visiting as often as possible."

  • Super-relaxing home away from home!

"This house was perfect for the three generations of our family. We had grand plans to visit nearby towns, drive in to Philadelphia, and see the sights. But we had so much fun on the river that we really didn't want to leave! Joan's gorgeous home was comfortable and offered every amenity imaginable. We took full advantage of most of the perks, including eating on the spacious deck for most meals, hanging out on the deck down by the river, kayaking and canoeing, sitting under the stars by the fire pit, taking long walks and runs on the canal tow path, and more. The house is beautifully appointed (the pictures don't do it justice) and very comfortable. The kitchen is a foodie's dream! And the views are simply stunning. Joan was so nice to work with and took care of our every need. We definitely hope to be back!"

  • Sister's Weekend Getaway

"We rented the property at the end of September for a long overdue sister's weekend. The house was just charming, and we had the best time exploring all that the area has to offer. There were several fall festivals in addition to exploring New Hope and Lambertville. The house had plenty of room for 4 adults, and the kitchen came well appointed for our one dinner in. There's even a fire pit in the yard with firewood which was the perfect ending to a great day. The stairs were very steep, but that is to be expected in a home this old. We did have difficulty with no internet and spotty cell connections, but it wasn't terrible being unplugged for a weekend. The owner was wonderful to work with, quickly responsive to each inquiry. I would definitely recommend this property!"

  • Great Place in the Middle of Everything

"I was traveling with my dog and stayed at this very old farmhouse for a week. All my family and friends came to visit. Great fenced in yard for dogs to run. Kitchen has modern appliances. Being next to the winery was so convenient for stocking up on wine and cheese, etc. The house has to date back to the 1700's with an add on that must have been made in the 1800's - very charming and everyone loved the place. The only problem was the noise from the traffic on Rt. 202. I live on an island and it is very quiet by comparison. But there is ample parking for guests - unlike New Hope proper where parking is at a premium. I would come back again. The hostess runs the winery next door. Everyone was so delightful. My poodle was a regular at the shop. If I came back I would time it to attend one of the concerts at the winery event venue and maybe the Bucks County Playhouse."
