"Those are just some of the adjectives that attempt to describe this hidden gem located near Lambertville, NJ. The reason for the visit: a family reunion with folks coming in from as far away as California and Georgia. The property and the amenities were beyond our expectations. All who attended kept raving about the grounds and the homes: main house, carriage house, pool house and game room. And one of the best parts was the separate barn yard area where the kids got to visit the goats, chickens, ducks, cow, calf, and papa bull. What an experience! This was all enhanced by a more than lovely walk across a covered bridge with a running stream underneath. I could go on for pages waxing eloquent about this property, but suffice it to say this is THE home rental to consider if you want the perfect ambiance, a more than well-appointed home, and truly a wonderful time. Many thanks to Brookmill Farm, great memories were made!"

"I have always gone to New Hope for a weeks getaway every summer and this year was lucky enough to happen upon Conversation Farm. The neighbors were welcoming and Shane , the next door neighbor helped collect firewood for the fire pit along the creek. Sitting along the stream and seeing all the wildlife was magical and the ducks came about for their morning feedings, duck food supplied ! The train going by overhead was just an added bonus as the site is already perfect. The king size bed was so comfortable and it was surprisingly very quiet being so close to Main street. It really felt as if I was staying in someone's home and not their rental property. The kitchen was great and having the one bathroom off the kitchen was handy when you were spending time at the creek or on the patio. The stairs were okay if you took your time. It is a beautiful place to stay, very close to all the attractions in and around New Hope. I only moved my car once in a week ! Thank you Laura for checking on us after the storm to be sure that we had power. Lovely home, lovely people."

"I stayed here with some friends for a nearby wedding. The house is comfortable and homey, and the host was very gracious and welcoming. We loved staying here and are looking forward to visiting New Hope again."

"My wife and I recently stayed for a week in this cozy apartment while I was recovering from surgery. I had no desire to be stuck in a hotel room eating microwaved take out food and we both wanted a little more space so that my wife could get some time to herself. The apartment was perfect. I was comfortable and could rest in bed, on one of the sofas, or outside on the deck enjoying views of the stream. My wife explored New Hope and hiked along the canal - everything was just a short walk away. The apartment was conveniently located and quiet except for the occasional train during the daytime - and even that wasn't too loud or disturbing. We had some trouble getting the DVD player to work (which is a tragedy to a person on bed rest!) but the owners quickly resolved the issue. Having spent nearly the entirety of my stay in New Hope inside the apartment I can vouch for the fact that anyone coming to town for a more enjoyable visit will be comfortable and happy to stay there! We hope to return to do just that ourselves."
