  • Perfect location for a quick Philly trip

"Stayed at this house with family while in Philly for business. Thanks to the owners for the warm hospitality and breakfast fixings. The house was in a great location with plenty of space for all. We enjoyed walking to the fabulous restaurants in Manyunk each evening. The Kelly Drive ride into Philly from the house was quick and easy with the added benefit of being next to the water and row houses. Definitely the spot if you are looking for a home versus a hotel!"

  • Back in Time

"Our family of 7 adults spent 3 nights at Plumb Nilly in February so we weren't able to take advantage of the pool, but a few of us did use the lighted tennis courts the first evening. Then the weather turned cold. But that made us appreciate the fireplace in one of the sitting rooms even more. We gathered there after supper each night to enjoy the cozy space. Everyone said their beds were comfortable. I can especially vouch for the Master Bedroom Bed--the most comfortable I've ever had away from home. We found everything we needed to cook supper one night--finding the fish poaching pan had my son buying a whole fish at Reading Market and preparing it for us. Every morning I headed for the kitchen to make coffee and sit in the quaint dining room gazing out the window just absorbing all the history that must have taken place in this lovely home. Plumb Nilly is only 30 minutes from downtown Philly, so we went into town both days to enjoy Reading Market and The City Tavern along with several of the museums."

  • Great location

"We spent 6 weeks in West Chester cottage while we visited friends and family back East. It was an overall very good experience. We toured the Brandywine River Valley sites, went to Alexandria for business and the Eastern shore and visited friends in Phila( the trip can be mmindnumbing, two hours to old city.) The cottage is well stocked and spacious, we epically liked the outdoor space. The furniture has a lived in feeling the was very comfortable. A TV in the bedroom would have been nice but it forced us to read more. Once you learn the neighborhood you realize how conveniently located it is."

  • Charming Suites

"Due to my work, I was on the search for a short term apartment that was furnished. I only needed to stay in the area for 3 months and was very lucky to find this charming rental which lives true to the write up. I stayed for 3 months in one of their guest suites and it was beautifully decorated and comfortable living which allowed a home away from home feel- just as the pictures presented. Each suite provides all the things you would need for short term stay. The couple who own the place are such wonderful, welcoming and helpful people. The town itself was a great place to live and close to many different locations to explore Bucks County. During my free time, I went to Sandcastle Winery, Buckingham Winery, New Hope, Peddlar's Village, and Downtown Doylestown. I highly recommend staying here over a hotel during your time in the area- whether it be work or vacationing."
