  • Just like in the pictures!

"Great location. Clean, well designed, comfortable space with a nice kitchen. Hair dryers in all bathrooms - shampoo too. Towels and linens provided. We would stay here again! If you visit independence square, recommend the buggy history tour."

  • Beautiful House, Great Manayunk Location

"I miss this house! I had an extended stay in this house, and it is absolutely perfect for this. The house is furnished gorgeously with an incredible kitchen. The appliances were great (great wine fridge and top of the line oven) which made cooking in this house very enjoyable. The house is very large... Two large queen beds and many extra rooms with futons and couches. The master suite is very nice... Very large space with beautiful glass shower and walk in closet. One of my favorite parts of the house was the outdoor area. Most rentals (and most houses) in Philly do not have outdoor space. The covered porch and garden were beautiful while I was there in the summer. I have no complaints about the house whatsoever. I would NOT recommend this house for people who have difficulty with stairs. The house is the classic Philly brownstone, three floor style with very steep stairs and lots of them. There's no banister on the first floor stairs, so be careful with small kids. But the absence of a banister keeps the space nice and open. As far as the area, Manayunk is a great place to visit and live. Main Street, which is just a short walk away, had some of the best cuisine and shopping I've seen. The house is located near the Manayunk Brewing Company end of Main Street. Gorgeous, lively area. Although it is not in Center City, the train is easily accessible (9 min walk to Wissahickon train station). Driving from this area into the city can be awful depending on the time of day... 76 is the only real way into the city, and AVOID THIS during rush hours. But as anyone who knows Philly knows, 76 is part of the Philly traffic experience. Overall my stay was wonderful."

  • Perfect location for a quick Philly trip

"Stayed at this house with family while in Philly for business. Thanks to the owners for the warm hospitality and breakfast fixings. The house was in a great location with plenty of space for all. We enjoyed walking to the fabulous restaurants in Manyunk each evening. The Kelly Drive ride into Philly from the house was quick and easy with the added benefit of being next to the water and row houses. Definitely the spot if you are looking for a home versus a hotel!"

  • Great Place, would go back!

"The place was great! The bed was so comfy! Perfect for my husband and I (and the dog!). Quiet area! A couple of blocks from all the shops and many pet friendly restaurants (our dog loved eating out!), we walked almost everywhere. The Bucks County Playhouse is only 2 blocks away where we enjoyed a great show. So many shops to go thru! Short drive to some beautiful parks and markets! We were concerned about leaving our dog (a recent rescue) in a strange place for the first time but Sue generously offered to bring him upstairs with her if he started to make a fuss, which, thankfully, she didn't have to do. You do have to go up and down stairs to get to the apartment, so if you have bad knees(like me) it is something to think about. But we would definitely stay there again! Thank you to Jim and Sue!"
