"Stayed at this house with family while in Philly for business. Thanks to the owners for the warm hospitality and breakfast fixings. The house was in a great location with plenty of space for all. We enjoyed walking to the fabulous restaurants in Manyunk each evening. The Kelly Drive ride into Philly from the house was quick and easy with the added benefit of being next to the water and row houses. Definitely the spot if you are looking for a home versus a hotel!"Guest: Craig C. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 26, 2014View listing
"When my fiance comes to visit, we typically rent a hotel room for a few days. Last visit, however, we looked on VRBO at the recommendation of a relative. We wanted something more personal than the typical hotel room, with all the amenities of home. This home is IT (but decorated way better than my home, and right off South Street, a place we love!)! We loved being able to park my car (with the provided parking pass) nearby and just walk around all weekend for meals, drinks, shopping, and wandering. The home is immaculately cleaned, decorated luxuriously, and I especially loved the kitchen and the whirlpool tub. We were able to enjoy the city when we wanted to, or enjoy our own little world when we felt like it. Thank you!"Guest: CT R. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 4, 2014View listing
"We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay in New Hope. The apartment was exactly as advertised. Comfortable, quiet and cozy. The location was great. No need for the car at all. We loved all the eclectic shops and the choices for good food are numerous. We especially liked Taco Loco, Blue Moose Cafe and Nina's Waffles-all within minutes walk. Would definitely stay again. In fact we plan on it."Guest: Nick and Patty Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 19, 2014View listing
"This was our second time back to Vixen Hill cottage. It is peaceful, bucolic and just the right amount of space for my husband and I when we return to our native Chester County, (from Florida). As an artist, I never grow weary of the beautiful subject matter which can range from the springhouse on the side of the cottage to the meandering stream, or the boisterous red maple in the front yard and even to the backyard peonies! Even though it rained for one of our weeks, I was able to paint from the lovely front porch. We love everything about the Vixen Hill Cottage and the surrounding area boosts not just natural beauty but wonderful restaurants, museums and historical monuments as well. We'll be back!"Guest: Maryanne J. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 18, 2014View listing
