"We stayed in this lovely condo while visiting Philadelphia for our son's wedding. There were 6 of us and the accommodations were perfect. The condo has great views of the city and the location worked well for us. When I called Steve to say that our coffee pot was broken and that we could use another blanket, he showed up that day with brand new replacements. Since we were busy, with the wedding, the whole time we were in Philly, we really didn't dine out much, but I can recommend two restaurants within walking distance of the condo: We had a wonderful dinner at the Italian Osteria and a great breakfast at Sabrina's Cafe. There are many other dining spots nearby. This is a great place to stay in Philly. Utilizing the available parking spot was very convenient. We would stay here again. Thank you Steven and Ann for being great hosts."Guest: Karen Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 16, 2014View listing
"Diana's place was excellent. We rented her lovely home for a long weekend so that my parents could spend time with their little niece. The place was spotless and contained everything you could need to enjoy your stay. Lovely outdoor courtyard in which you can dine, grill or just enjoy the peaceful setting. Close to town and easy to reach from NYC."Guest: TK Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 9, 2014View listing
"This was our second time back to Vixen Hill cottage. It is peaceful, bucolic and just the right amount of space for my husband and I when we return to our native Chester County, (from Florida). As an artist, I never grow weary of the beautiful subject matter which can range from the springhouse on the side of the cottage to the meandering stream, or the boisterous red maple in the front yard and even to the backyard peonies! Even though it rained for one of our weeks, I was able to paint from the lovely front porch. We love everything about the Vixen Hill Cottage and the surrounding area boosts not just natural beauty but wonderful restaurants, museums and historical monuments as well. We'll be back!"Guest: Maryanne J. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 18, 2014View listing
"This house was perfect for the three generations of our family. We had grand plans to visit nearby towns, drive in to Philadelphia, and see the sights. But we had so much fun on the river that we really didn't want to leave! Joan's gorgeous home was comfortable and offered every amenity imaginable. We took full advantage of most of the perks, including eating on the spacious deck for most meals, hanging out on the deck down by the river, kayaking and canoeing, sitting under the stars by the fire pit, taking long walks and runs on the canal tow path, and more. The house is beautifully appointed (the pictures don't do it justice) and very comfortable. The kitchen is a foodie's dream! And the views are simply stunning. Joan was so nice to work with and took care of our every need. We definitely hope to be back!"Guest: Tracy N. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 24, 2014View listing
