  • Wonderful family weekend!

"Woodland Lodge was a wonderful setting for our family weekend. Finding a place large enough to comfortably accommodate 26 people (4 generations ages 2 to 84) was not easy, so we felt especially blessed to find this lovely place. It was all we hoped and more. We were very impressed how clean, organized, and well stocked everything was! Margaret was so helpful and answered our multiple questions during the planning stages and Amy the property manager was incredibly helpful. Our heartfelt thanks to both. Our family had lots of togetherness, but plenty of space."

  • A COUNTRY JEWEL

"We had a marvelous time at this wonderful country retreat. It is located just minutes from downtown Coudersport, yet completely private and in the country. The house easily accommodated the twelve adults and two children. The grounds outside featured play areas for the kids and a lovely garden. The internet was flawless. There was available TV and a plethora of books to occupy anyone. I would highly recommend this very complete hideaway to anyone planning a stay in the Coudersport area for any year round activity. We certainly plan on staying here for our next visit to Coudersport."

  • Wonderful House, Idyllic Setting

"We were only here for two nights but wished almost immediately that our stay was longer. The house is spacious, comfortable and very well kitted out. The back decking is huge and overlooks a large garden where we played croquet on the lawn. We were very lucky to be able to take up the opportunity to have dinner with a local Amish family in the village, arranged by Lucy. This was one of the highlights of our trip. The doughnuts sold on Saturday morning just around the corner were the best we have ever had! There are lots of nature walks and beautiful farming landscapes in the local area. Lucy has very good local knowledge and went out of her way to ensure that we had a wonderful stay. We even went for a bird walk with Lucy and a friend. They helped find and identify the birds we saw and heard. Thank you so much Lucy for such an enjoyable stay and for making us feel so welcome. We highly recommend a stay at the Dancing Bear Lodge - you won't be disappointed!"

  • All the comforts of home, near Cherry Springs State Park for stargazing and relaxing, beautiful!

"What an cute Cabin, highly maintained, clean and fully stocked with all the necessities! Decor like a doll house! Fully stocked with pots, pans and dishes, you only need to bring food for this full sized kitchen. Little details such as games to keep the kids busy, such as checkers, logs and puzzles and don't forget the nets to catch the fireflies are all provided. The real joy of this cabin is the stream; sitting on one of the two patios is incredibly relaxing and tranquil. The beautiful setting and the sounds from the stream makes this a place you can relax, enjoy and unwind. Take me back anytime!"
