"Thank you for the opportunity to rent your home. Our group of 8 had more than enough room to relax and enjoy Potter County. We took a day trip to Corning and a night trip to Cherry Springs park. Even though it was a little cloudy, we saw a shooting star from the porch of this home. There were more than enough books if you wanted to just read and relax. I would definitely recommend this home."

"This was a great place to stay while visiting the many great parks in the area. The home is very comfortable and has everything you would need to have a great time. Chris and Handyman Bob were very informative about the area providing tips of things to do, maps, and available to answer any questions we had. Cell service is limited and you do need a 4wd car to get up the driveway in certain weather but it is worth it."

"My family and I fell in love with this home, it's property and surrounding community! As you get a small preview with the photos of the house and its property, it's far more beautiful once you arrive and take everything in! The house has such more relevance than just it's size and beauty of course ...it helps if you understand the historical signifigance, because as you walk around the home, and look around at the old photos of the home back when it was being built and reading of the" Othmer"s contributions in his life I instantly had a feeling of what an honor and privledge to reside in this home! The house had for the most part everything we needed except an axe for chopping wood for campfires:) My family and I enjoyed fishing in the pond .There are beautiful rainbow trout! My daughter caught the biggest croppy and bluegill we have ever seen! I myself caught a catfish that clearly has been in the pond for years! My husband spent most of the 4 days with a pole constantly in the water the minute he woke up. He caught 32 rainbow trout(which all were put back! :) ) The grounds are just beautiful! It has truly taught me to take some time and look up to the sky and truly embrace your surroundings because you never know what your going to see! We were lucky enough to see a bald eagle perched in a tree ! I truly can see now why they call it "God's Country", because it truly is! It's a small quaint beautiful area with townspeople that are genuinely kind and polite! It truly melted my heart to know that towns like this still exist! I cannot forget to add the OTHMER DUCKS! The ducks are adorable waddling around the grounds and swimming to their island in the afternoons for a nap....but the minute they hear the door open they are swimming back across for some more to eat! They truly add a special charm to the grounds! My daughter fell in love with them and kept them well fed :) All in all I would have to say if you want to escape from the fast forward pace of life ..and bring yourself back down to earth, and surround your self in "God's gifts to us," This truly is a reconditioning for your soul! Thank you Greg for the opportunity to stay on your property!Your home has given our family some memories that will last a lifetime!!! THANKYOU AGAIN!! "THE ESTOKS""

The quintessential cabin's ambiance was cozy and eclectic!
"Upon arriving to Coudersport, we met at the exact time, Bob, who escorted us to the cabin. He was friendly and showed us around the cabin to give us instructions about the place and then he informed us about the area and some touristy things to do. The cabin's ambiance was cozy and eclectic. It definitely is a quintessential cabin atmosphere. We were able to have the amenities of a full kitchen, games, puzzles, tv, a fire pit outside and a woodshed full of wood for our use. If you enjoy star gazing, the view is amazing! Coming from south eastern PA, I have never seen so many stars and their brightness. Cherry Springs Park has star gazing spots but you can still catch a glimpse from the balcony of the cabin or just sitting by the fire. It was a nice place to get away from the norm and relax with the comforts of home. I loved the vintage posters on the walls and ceilings. The cabin does have wifi which is a plus. The neighboring vacation cabin has children that like to play in the stream and driveway directly in front of the cabin. If you want privacy while you're outside during the day then this cabin is not for you, however there is another cabin which is completely secluded so check availability because the owners are fabulous people and Coudersport is a neat little town from the turn of the century."
