  • A Very Special Christmas

"Our family had the very good fortune of spending Christmas at Sagamore South. From the snow flurries that started as we drove down the lane to the fresh blanket of snow we awoke to the morning of our departure it just enhanced our stay. This home is so truly welcoming and comfortable with all the special touches Sue has waiting for you. The decor is wonderful and the views are amazing. The kitchen is well equipped for all your cooking needs. Flannel sheets, down comforters and beautiful quilts kept us toasty. We enjoyed spending time in the great room around the fireplace enjoying the view of the river. Whatever the reason~whatever the season this home has so much to offer. Thank you for sharing your home with us."

  • Relaxing time at Wapiti Woods Cabins

"My husband and I were looking for a nice relaxing getaway and truly found it at Wapiti Woods Cabins. We stayed in cabin 1......no TV, no Cell Phone service, no Internet, was at the furthest point from the parking lot (you are not allowed to drive up to the cabins, but are given a large luggage cart to bring your things to your cabin). The cabin was VERY clean and well appointed with just about anything we could need. The wood that was provided for the fire ring was plentiful and if by some chance you actually ran out, you are able to buy extra right there on the property. The charcoal grill looked to be brand new and we did indeed enjoy using it for a steak dinner. Everything you could possibly need was provided in the kitchen. The bed was somewhat hard, but it was a futon, so I did expect that and did not mind that for a couple of nights. Honestly, the pictures online do not do the property enough justice. Other than the one meal we cooked at the cabin, we ate at the Benezette Hotel and at the Medix Run Hotel. The Benezette Hotel was simply delicious for dinner and Medix Run Hotel was very good while we ate bar food. We were able to spot Elk on Winslow Hill Rd and also a bear cub. We will definitely be returning to Wapiti Woods Cabins!"

  • Heaven

"We stayed at the Chalet 7/25/14-7/30/14. This truly is a beautiful, well kept gem. It totally surpassed our expectations by miles. It's secluded, private, peaceful and just so absolutely gorgeous. Lots of wildlife to see and the ponds are wonderful. Our Lab Meka was in Heaven. We are already planning our next trip for next year. Thank you Kim and Sonya for sharing you little piece of Heaven with us and our furry child. We fell in love with the place from the moment we came up the drive. The whole property is just breathtaking. Also lots to do and see. The town of Wellsboro is a quaint little town with lots of unique shops."

Tionesta Travel Tips

Experience the Pennsylvania Wilds While Lodging in Tionesta Vacation Rentals

Enjoying all that nature has to offer is a wonderful thing. But it doesn't feel quite right to spend a day hunting, fishing, biking or hiking and then return to a sterile hotel room. It is much better to continue the wilderness experience by lodging in one of the Tionesta vacation rentals locating in the Pennsylvania Wilds.

In the Tionesta vacation rentals, you will feel comfortable to put your feet up and unwind in the manner of a true outdoorsman or woods woman. Furthermore, you'll have your own kitchen where you can make a delicious dinner from your freshly-caught fish or game.

Where Waters Meet: The Pennsylvania Wilds"

Tionesta is a Native American word for "Waters Meet", and idyllic name which matches the beautiful scenery in the Pennsylvania Wilds. By staying in one of the Pennsylvania Wilds cabins, you will be able to truly experience the land that inspired such a beautiful name.

Tionesta lodging is available for all sizes of traveling parties. Couples, families, and even big hunting groups can find Tionesta lodging that will suit their needs quite comfortably.

Beauty in the Land, Beauty in the Savings

One of the best parts of taking advantage of one of the Tionesta vacation rentals is the amount of money that this choice can save you on your vacation. Instead of paying through the nose for restaurant meals three times a day, you'll be able to cook your own favorite dishes for a fraction of the cost.

Also, you won't have to worry about getting dirty while you are out exploring the great outdoors. Most of the Pennsylvania Wilds cabins come equipped with laundry facilities where you can take care of your mud-splattered dungarees. The best part is that you won't have to worry about a sky-high hotel laundry bill when it's all said and done.
