  • Fishing Week

"If you are looking for a place for a family get away, a few days with the boys, or a girls adventure this is the place to stay. There are plenty of sleeping areas, a spacious sun room, a deck with a view that is breath taking. All the conveniences of home in a rustic decor. There is plenty activities for everyone to enjoy, biking the rails to trails, canoeing/kayaking Pine Creek, and some outstanding fly fishing. We will be returning next year to enjoy this cabin."

  • Glorious Getaway!

"Though I arrived in the midst of a very nice snowstorm, I couldn't have been happier or felt more blessed to arrive at this beautiful cottage and the surrounding property! I was traveling by myself (a birthday treat!) but never felt more safe and relaxed! The place is gorgeous, with every attention to detail you could ask for, including a perfectly stocked kitchen. It is clean beyond expectations. I had the most awesome time snowshoeing all around and would love to get back in the spring or fall to get a better appreciation of the beautiful property. Next time I'll have to bring the family! A perfect place for all!"

  • A COUNTRY JEWEL

"We had a marvelous time at this wonderful country retreat. It is located just minutes from downtown Coudersport, yet completely private and in the country. The house easily accommodated the twelve adults and two children. The grounds outside featured play areas for the kids and a lovely garden. The internet was flawless. There was available TV and a plethora of books to occupy anyone. I would highly recommend this very complete hideaway to anyone planning a stay in the Coudersport area for any year round activity. We certainly plan on staying here for our next visit to Coudersport."

  • Relaxing time at Wapiti Woods Cabins

"My husband and I were looking for a nice relaxing getaway and truly found it at Wapiti Woods Cabins. We stayed in cabin 1......no TV, no Cell Phone service, no Internet, was at the furthest point from the parking lot (you are not allowed to drive up to the cabins, but are given a large luggage cart to bring your things to your cabin). The cabin was VERY clean and well appointed with just about anything we could need. The wood that was provided for the fire ring was plentiful and if by some chance you actually ran out, you are able to buy extra right there on the property. The charcoal grill looked to be brand new and we did indeed enjoy using it for a steak dinner. Everything you could possibly need was provided in the kitchen. The bed was somewhat hard, but it was a futon, so I did expect that and did not mind that for a couple of nights. Honestly, the pictures online do not do the property enough justice. Other than the one meal we cooked at the cabin, we ate at the Benezette Hotel and at the Medix Run Hotel. The Benezette Hotel was simply delicious for dinner and Medix Run Hotel was very good while we ate bar food. We were able to spot Elk on Winslow Hill Rd and also a bear cub. We will definitely be returning to Wapiti Woods Cabins!"
