"This was a great house for 8 women to spend the weekend together! Very clean and comfortable but more importantly it was such a reasonable price for such a great location! I had never visited Newport before and did not know how close/far from everything this would be but we were able to walk everywhere! Beds were comfortable though there are four double beds which was fine for us ladies but I wanted to mention as this could be a problem for some couples used to sleeping on a larger bed for example. All the ladies on our trip were very impressed with the house and I do not doubt all of us would consider the house again if future plans brought any of us back to Newport!"

"My husband and I enjoyed our one-week stay in Jamestown at this delightful apartment. When we arrived, there was a lovely note from Betsy on the door as well as some delicious tomatoes waiting for us on the kitchen island. The apartment is clean and has everything you need. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to cook and bake. The bathroom has soaps, q-tips, cotton balls, and kleenex. The open floor layout is wonderful. Open the french doors to the balconette and you experience the most amazing breeze. It is on the 2nd floor, so we enjoyed letting the windows open all night rather than using air conditioning. We spent 4 fabulous days in Newport which is a hop, skip and a jump from Jamestown; we did everything imaginable; sailed on a schooner, visited 5 mansions, toured Fort Adams, walked the Cliff Walk, and went to two museums - the Audrain Automobile Museum and the National Museum for American Illustration (if you like Norman Rockwell, you must visit). One day was spent relaxing in Jamestown with a jaunt down to Beavertail Lighthouse for some afternoon reading by the ocean. We were so glad to have such a wonderful place to come back to in the evening. If we get up to Rhode Island again, we will definitely make arrangements to stay at The Waves. Thank you Betsy for being such a great host!"

"Our family just completed another great week of vacation at High Point. This unique property is situated to provide 340 degree water views while still affording privacy. There are two patios/decks that let you enjoy the sunshine as you dine or sit and relax while watching the boats pass by. The property is well maintained with lovely flower gardens everywhere you look. It is a cozy and inviting place to vacation. Lots of kitchen supplies and a gas grill for the cook.
East Matunuck beach is literally minutes away, but we recommend you take an extra 15 minutes to visit East Beach which is less crowded but equally beautiful. Get there early as parking is limited. Don't miss the Matunuck Oyster bar for great seafood. The Block Island Ferry is close by for an easy day trip.
We look forward to visiting High Point again soon."

"The house is not much to look at from the outside, but the inside is just what you want in a beach vaca home. We had a total of 4 adults & 6 teenage girls at the house & it couldn't have worked out any better. The girls loved the upstairs space & the adults loved the quiet & space downstairs. Seth was great to talk to about the logistics leading up to the stay & everything was there for us. It was clean, having the washer & dryer were excellent wash all the towels & bathing suits each day, was a bonus and the air conditioners came in handy for the afternoons back from the beach & sleeping. We were only 1.3 miles from Dunes Beach & the weather was a dream come true. Thank you to Seth & Tracey for the use of the home, we would recommend for sure!"
