"Once again, the house was awesome. It fits our family of 5 perfectly and love having the 2 1/2 bathrooms. Great location, very quiet at night. This was at least the fourth year in a row at this house."

"We had such a wonderful visit to RI and staying at this home was truly one of the brightest highlights! We found EVERYTHING we could possibly need there, including peace and quiet. A true home away from home kind of vacation! The owners were most helpful and responsive both before, during, and after our stay and made fast return of our deposit. The hosts also own the beautiful home behind this one but it was not occupied during our time there; we had the utmost privacy during our end of September stay and felt like we were the only ones in town.
Shelter Harbor is a peaceful place during all seasons and the dock is just a few minutes walk away. Shelter Harbor Inn & Restaurant is also within walking distance and is open 365 days a year, a real treat for those who want to stay close to home for a meal out or have an event there while hosting family at this nearby rental house. You will find a fully equipped kitchen at the home though so if you love to cook this is an optimal rental!
There are many wonderful adventures to be had for all within driving distance. Judith Point is just up Rte 1 where you can find fresh seafood and catch the ferry to Block Island. Historic Newport is about an hour's drive away over the beautiful bridges and offers shopping and day activities for everyone. ** If you head north of Rte 1 be sure to stop in on PATTICAKES on Kingstown Road in Wakefield for the best desserts of your life!!
You'll also find gas stations, restaurants and other conveniences like Stop & Shop grocery store and Walmart right down the road off Rte 1 (south of house) and popular public beaches/attractions like Watch Hill and Misquamicut Beach off Rte 1A past beautiful New England style stone walls and gorgeous beachfront houses. Downtown Providence, RI also offers day trips galore if you want to take the trip north into the state, and Leaf Peepers will be delighted with a drive through nearby CT via Waterford Rd or Rte 78.
Many thanks to the owners for considering all the details to make our stay truly comfortable! We will definitely stay there again on our next adventure to New England and would gladly welcome the hosts in our home! Good people and a good place :)"

"My boyfriend and I rented this house for a week and it was amazing. The location was fantastic, it was close to everything, in a private community, and not crowded at all. The community was clean, and very friendly. We were steps from a private beach, and the views were amazing. The house was perfect for us, it was beautiful inside and out, very comfortable and provided more than enough parking, and storage for the items we brought with us. I would rent this place again in a heart beat, and hope to again soon."

"Don't let looks deceive. This compact little beach cottage has everything you could ask for in a summer vacation spot. There are two bedrooms that are comfortable enough for your stay. The kitchen has all the amenities you could ask for, including dish washer, microwave and coffee maker (I guess you can read that in the listing, but it is worth repeating that you have everything you need in the kitchen). The grill and the picnic table outside will become the center of your stay as you enjoy beautiful mornings with coffee viewing the mist coming off the pond to awesome sunsets with outdoor dining that turns into fabulous night time star gazing. You won't be spending too much time in the cottage as everything from the beach, to dining, to shopping are all close by. Pretty much everyday we woke up, took off, and didn't come back till dinner time.
The owner/manager is easy to deal with and communicates often and promptly. No worries there. A word to out of state guests - linens and towels are not supplied. This practice is common to the area, so plan in advance.
