  • Paradise Found!

"The Building at Lewis Farm is a large slice of paradise - the perfect spot to unwind, relax, renew, and absorb as much fresh air and sunshine that you can handle. We found the property exactly as described and it was spotless and well-maintained. The owners were very nice and responded to our inquiries before and during our arrival very quickly. We've rented other properties on BI over the years - closer to Old Harbor and the SE Lighthouse - and all with the full trappings of home on the mainland, but this minimalist cottage was the BEST - we didn't miss anything. An important plus for us was being able to bring a pet - there are very few properties on BI that allow dogs. We will definitely return to Lewis Farm."

  • Serpendipity Tremendous Property

"There were 13 of us there for a wedding and we could not have been more delighted with this house, just perfect. Lovely house, clean, bright, with plenty of space for people to feel like their actually alone, if need be. We spent the weekend and enjoyed the pool, cookout and the home very much, may even come back on our friends anniversary with the gang, just to recreate that weekend. PERFECT"

  • Great house in a great location

"We really enjoyed this house. It's on the quiet (west) side of the island, though next door to a busy boatyard. But if you enjoy boats and their attendant activities, it's perfect. It was wonderful to be able to launch kayaks from the yard, and to have such easy access to the water for swimming, especially during a very warm week. The house was very clean and well-equipped, and we appreciated the fresh flowers the housekeeper left for us. This was our first visit to Jamestown, and we enjoyed biking, kayaking, swimming and golf (at the local course). We recommend Trattoria Simpatico for dinner, the Shack (next door at the boatyard) for lunch, and Slice of Heaven for morning coffee and a muffin, but the other island eateries are unimpressive. Take advantage of the Newport ferry and eat across the bay, or shop at McQuade's (the local market) and eat in. Watching the sunset from the house is as good a view as you'll get anywhere."

  • A Slice of Paradise

"I cant begin to tell you how absolutely amazing this place is. It truly is a slice of paradise. We have gone on alot of beautiful amazing trips in New England, but we both agreed that this was by far our favorite. Little Compton is truly amazing, and this house...the view...the surroundings.... it's just absolutely breathtaking. I almost didnt want to write this as i didnt want other people to book up the house ;) But the owner was just so good to us, i want to share how wonderful she was, and how amazing it was to stay here. I guess if we have to share our slice of paradise with the world, we will. ha ha. ;) Enjoy. I promise you will absolutley love it here!"
