"This house was right in the middle of everything and yet it felt like we were getting away from it all. There was plenty of room for 9 people without feeling like we were on top of each other all the time. We hung out in the spacious living room in the evening and lounged on the back porch and patio while eating brunch in the morning. The beach was a short walk away, and there were many restaurants and bars close by. The mansions and the Cliff Walk were very close as well. If you're looking for a relaxing weekend in Newport, this is the place to stay!"

"We rented this fabulous property with another family. Total of 4 adults and 4 children ages 2, 7, 10 and 12. Plenty of room to unwind and relax for all! Children enjoyed "camping out" in sunroom overnight and the only entertainment they needed was the hammock! We were able to make pasta the night before the race and enjoyed a glass or two of wine every night! Good value for money, quiet neighborhood, beautiful sunset views and easy access to Newport and restaurants, shops and mansions! Easy check in and great communication with owner Helen and accountant Lori! Would come back and book next time we come to Newport!"

"Recently my sister's family of four and my family of four rented this house together and it worked out beautifully for the eight of us. There was ample space, plenty of beds, 2 full baths, laundry facilities, and an upstairs living room with tv that provided an escape for those who wanted to get away from the action in the downstairs living room/kitchen area. There was room in the yard for games, we cooked multiple times on the grill, the cu-de-sac was not busy so it was quiet, and it was easily accessible to everywhere we wanted to go. We stopped at the visitor's center a few miles up the road and they gave us very good advice on sites to see and places to visit/eat. We used the provided beach pass multiple times...Dunes Beach was wonderful - clean and sandy, not rocky. The location was convenient for day trips to Newport (cliff walk and mansion tours were great), Narragansett (dinner at the Coast Guard House was amazing), Mystic and many other places as well. The house was clean and Laura addressed all our questions in a timely manner and made our trip an easy one. I would definitely stay here again for a relaxing, enjoyable family vacation."

"We had a fabulous time at this house for two weeks. It has a huge and private back yard and has little or no traffic so is perfect for children and animals. The neighbors waved to us whenever we drove by and one brought over tomatoes when we were having dinner outside one night. The ceiling fans are a godsend in the hot weather making the house very pleasant. The kitchen is very well equipped to make everything from omelets to a clam bake. Pretty dishes and glassware make serving meals fun. The sheets were so smooth and soft I could not wait to go to bed at night. There are plenty of towels for the bathrooms and the beach.
The owners were so accommodating and agreeable, as were the managers. We hope to be back again and again."
