"After 22 years going to a home in NH, we had to find a new place for our bi-annual Women's Weekend. We rented this amazing home and have found a fantastic place to start new memories. It was such a roomy house - plenty of rooms - plenty of places to sleep. There were 11 of us and there were extra beds to be had. The kitchen was FULLY equipped with everything that you could think of. LOVED the sound being able to go through the whole house when wanted. We had lovely dinners at the dining table that seated all of us very comfortably. The bathrooms were HUGE! We had a lovely evening (though chilly) on the 2nd story fireplace deck - lots of fun and such a wonderfully clear evening - tons of stars to admire. The BEST aspect of that home, though, is the deck. We spent most of our weekend on the deck, chatting, sunning, reading and admiring the unbelievable view. Most of us took advantage of the wonderful weather and took walks/runs within the neighborhood. It was breathtaking throughout the whole weekend. We saw beautiful sunrises and breathtaking sunsets. We will be returning next October to repeat our wonderful experience. The owner was available whenever we needed him - very, very helpful."

Comfortable summer getaway in wonderful neighborhood!
"We've rented this comfortable summer home four times and have enjoyed wonderful experiences each summer. The home is lovely in so many ways from the decor to the furnishings complete with washing machine and dryer. Having beach towels was a plus, too! The location is ideal for walking to the beach, bicycling, and walking around the beautiful country roads. But what makes the house in this Little Compton neighborhood special for us is the people we have met in the neighborhood along with their pets - they are truly friendly and welcoming. Our son, who is now 10, cannot wait to come back every summer. My husband, an avid cyclist, firmly maintains that our Little Compton location provides his favorite cycling routes and scenery and I find it relaxing and tranquil! The homeowner and rental agent worked so well together to ensure that we enjoyed our stay."

"This house is in a perfect location! Short walk to the beach and short bike ride or drive to the town center. Great communication with the owner! House was very clean with plenty of room and has a wonderful multi level deck out the backyard to enjoy."

Beautifully appointed home in quaint New England town
"We rented this lovely house in July for a family vacation and 30th birthday celebration for our daughter. Not only is the house beautiful inside, the property is fantastic! Apple trees in the backyard, flower beds filled with all kinds of perennials, hydrangea bushes surrounding the house made it so fun to walk around, and for our 2 year old grandson and our golden retrievers to run around!
We were greeted with a beautiful flower arrangement in the kitchen, cut from the gardens. We also loved watching the myriad varieties of birds who feasted at the bird feeders on the patio.
The downstairs has been completely refinished to high standards with granite counters and a fantasy steam shower in the master bath. My favorite room is the large living room at the back of the house that has cathedral ceilings, big fireplace, window seat and two sets of French doors overlooking the patio and busy birds. It was such a quiet place to relax with a book and feel totally at peace.
The kitchen is fully equipped for guests -- just bring your own food and your every utensil, container, pot, pan, serving dish is waiting for you.
There are plenty of towels and sheets provided and also all kinds of recreational items at the house (bikes, helmets, kayaks, beach chairs, etc.) so you don't need to pack your car to the gills!
We spent our days at South Beach, which is about 3 miles from the house and an easy bike ride. If you drive there plan on arriving early since parking spots are limited.
We went into Newport for our daughter's birthday, which is about a 45 minute drive so if you are looking for someplace close to all that Newport has to offer just know it is a bit of a jaunt.
We were particularly grateful that Perky allows pets in her lovely home. We knew that is a sign of someone with a big heart!
We loved our stay and highly recommend this Home Away from home! We were sad to leave!"
