  • Excellent Vacation Rental

"I would strongly recommend this property to anyone interested in visiting the Narragansett area. The cottage location is exactly what is described with three beaches within easy driving or biking distance or even a bit of a walk. The cottage is very well stocked with everything you might need for your vacation. The owners have even provided beach chairs, toys and towels. All you'll need to bring are your personal items. We would suggest bringing bikes along to ride to the state beaches in the area to avoid having to pay daily parking fees. Make sure to include a trip to Newport as part of your trip. The shops and restaurants are terrific. Don't miss trying out Aunt Carrie's and Iggy's just up the street. The property is terrific for families with younger children. The yard is secure and we felt extremely safe. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Rhode Island."

  • Beautiful home with a constant breeze!

"My family and I rented this home (8 adults, 5 kids under age 5) and we had an amazing vacation. This house was spotless upon arrival and had everything we needed. We were worried about not having central air throughout the house, but we didn't need it because of the breeze that you get being on top of a hill. You are about a 1/4 of a mile from Roger Wheeler Beach (excellent family beach and the same is super soft). You have restaurants and ice-cream less than a mile away, with tons of side streets to go for a walk. Excellent customer service by the owners! My family and I are hoping to rent next year :)"

"We thoroughly enjoyed the lake access and all of the kayaks and canoes! The quaint cabin was perfect for children of all ages. This cabin is stocked with many board games, cards, boats, fully equipped kitchen, and lots of sleeping space. The sunsets are spectacular on the lake and its just minutes from the beach!!"

Narragansett Travel Tips

Narragansett Rentals Are for Everyone

If you are planning Rhode Island travel in the near future, Narragansett rentals are likely going to be your best bet. Narragansett lodging is the perfect choice for students on spring break, families looking for fun and quality time, and couples on a romantic getaway. The little beach villages that make up Narragansett appeal to just about anyone! In Narragansett, you can spend your day at the beach then unwind at one of the many eateries along the coast.

Natural Beauty around Narragansett Lodging

If you love natural beauty, you will not want to miss Newton Rocks, a giant rock cliff down the road from Narragansett beach and most Narragansett rentals. Its serene beauty allows for the perfect picnic backdrop or family photo. You may also want to take the kids on a stroll along the Narrow River which feeds into the bay.

A Little History in Narragansett Rentals

On a family vacation, it is always nice to incorporate a bit of education for the kids. So, during your Rhode Island travel, stop in for a visit at the South County Museum which is not far from most Narragansett rentals. The museum focuses on the history and culture of southern Rhode Island. Located near most Narragansett lodging is also Point Judith Lighthouse, originally built in 1857; it's definitely worth a visit.

Rhode Island Travel for Adventure

Staying in Narragansett lodging does not just mean old lighthouses and beaches for the entire vacation. There is plenty of fun to be had during your Rhode Island travel. If you love canoeing and kayaking, you are in the right place! For a fun tour, think about taking the family on a river boat ride. Other fun things in the Narragansett area include golf courses, shooting ranges, movie theaters, and skating rinks.
