  • Lovely home and vacation!

"Our family of three spent a thoroughly enjoyable week at this warm and comfortable home. It was immaculate and has been well maintained. What you see in the photos is exactly as it is-plenty of seating everywhere-inside and out. Kitchen has everything you could want. Owners have gone to great lengths to think of everything for a beach vacation. They provide beach chairs, coolers, and thick beach towels along with upgraded linens and bath sheets, and a treasure trove of information to restaurants, activities and all tourist related points. We loved the secluded back yard and the gardens. We also loved the fact that everything was only minutes away. Recommend every beach within a 10 min drive!"

  • Fantastic experience!

"I highly recommend this property! For the price, and the location (right around the corner from the mansion where Jackie Kennedy used to summer :), it simply can't be beat. The description doesn't do it justice and we were pleasantly surprised to learn that 2 of the 3 upstairs bedrooms do in fact have air conditioning. Also, you do have your own grill (no need to share). The neighbors on the other side "surfer boys" as the other reviewer described them were very quiet, we talked to them on the first day and learned that they're old college buddies- mostly all married guys who visit on the weekends from Boston and New York. The whole neighborhood is very quiet, family friendly, and within a 10 minute walk from the beach. Deposit and cleaning fee were returned quickly with no hassle. If I had to think of some complaints it would only be that the bathroom area near the shower is very dark, it needs some sort of light installed over there. Also the driveway is quite narrow so squeezing 2 cars in there was a stretch."

  • Great family spot

"The pictures did not do this place justice. It was nicer than we had expected. We spent the week with my extended family and the space was perfect for us. My family of 5 took the entire second level which had bunks for my kids and a generous size bedroom that fit a pack n play nicely. It was perfect and quiet away from the noise of the common area. The main living space was very open. It had a great screened in porch and fabulous dining room that fit us all. The king size bedroom was large and perfect for my parents. The upper level bedroom was perfect for us since we had my younger sister who does not have kids so she could hide from the madness. They had a great backyard that the kids loved and this place was about .25 miles from the beach. The only reason I would not give it 5 stars was because we had to do a heavy scrub of the grill and it would have been helpful to have a few more beach chairs, but other than that this place was great!"

  • Terrific Beach House

"We've been renting beach houses for the past 5 summers (in Narragansett RI). By far this was the best house we've stayed in. For starters it was clean and bug free. The rooms are extremely spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the kitchen which was well stocked with utensils, pots and pans etc. The dining room table easily sat 12+ people. There is a very comfortable living room as well as an enormous family room. The yard is terrific, both front and back. There are water view decks as well as a farmers porch with ocean view. I enjoyed sitting on the porch with my coffee each morning. This house was definitely built with family, peace and comfort in mind. The owners generously leave 4 bicycles, gas grill and tons of beach chairs etc. for their renters to enjoy. In addition, the house is beautifully decorated with a nautical theme. I completely would recommend this home. Our family included 3 generations."

If you love natural beauty, you will not want to miss Newton Rocks, a giant rock cliff down the road from Narragansett beach and most Narragansett rentals. Its serene beauty allows for the perfect picnic backdrop or family photo. You may also want to take the kids on a stroll along the Narrow River which feeds into the bay.

A Little History in Narragansett Rentals

On a family vacation, it is always nice to incorporate a bit of education for the kids. So, during your Rhode Island travel, stop in for a visit at the South County Museum which is not far from most Narragansett rentals. The museum focuses on the history and culture of southern Rhode Island.
