  • A fantastic family get a way!!

"We just came back from spending a week at this beautiful house. It comfortably accommodated my large family and extended family. If you choose to stay here, the location is perfect. You could spend the week never getting in your car. A close walk to the beautiful beach ( we heard from the locals, it was one of the nicest in the area), shops, restaurants, coffee shops, parks. It has it all. If you choose to get in your car, everything is 10-20 min away! We can't wait to go back!!"

  • Great vacation with family and friends :)

"My family had a great experience in Narragensett stay at this wonderfuly located house. The neighborhood is very inviting and a great environment. The house was perfect for our family. It is nice how there is bedrooms located on the first floor and on the second floor, which allows for privacy or a seperation needed. The majority of the week their was 7 us there, but we had some friends visit and the house felt plenty spaciuos with even 10 of us there. The outdoor shower is amazing, especially after a day at the beach. The house is a bit outdated, but it was never anything that made the expereince unenjoyable. It fits the beach setting very well. It is a 5 minute walk to the Sand Hill Cove Beach/Roger Wheeler Beach. We never paid for parking since we had the luxury of dropping off all of our stuff and people right at the beach and then one person would drive the car back and walk 5 minutes to the beach. Great convenience!! The beach near the house is great for kids since it offers a calmer surf and a playground. The house is close to everything including restaurants, shops, Narragansett town center, etc. The hidden secret about this house is the 3 amazing decks. All of them have a unique feel with different views. We spend so much time having breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, reading, talking, and relaxing on the porches. Overall we had a great experience and will probabaly go back next year!"

  • Great place!

"Clean, well maintained cottage that is just a short walk to the beach and a short walk to local amenities as well. It was equipped with all the things that we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Our golden retriever was very comfortable as well! Thanks for letting us bring our entire family!"

  • Nice little cottage with a big view

"My husband, myself and 2 teens stayed here last week, August 2014. The home is very practical, very close to Wheeler beach and has an extraordinary view off the back deck of the ocean. No a/c but with the windows open we had a lovely breeze. Outside shower was private and fantastic. The back deck provided plenty of space for dining with my extended family and everyone commented about the location and view. The kitchen had all the necessities and plenty of room for all we brought. The whole home was very clean-and I am very picky about these things. My family has done a week in Narragansett every summer since 2007 and I'd absolutely rent this home again! The home owners are very pleasant and easy to work with. My only suggestions to the owners would be to provide more photos of the bedrooms to show how roomy the place really is. I actually was delighted with the steps from the LR to both bedrooms and the privacy this provided. Also, I'd recommend providing sheets, blankets and beach towels for travelers. Otherwise, this little place is a gem! Thank you, J&L for a wonderful family week in your home!"

The little beach villages that make up Narragansett appeal to just about anyone! In Narragansett, you can spend your day at the beach then unwind at one of the many eateries along the coast.

Natural Beauty around Narragansett Lodging

If you love natural beauty, you will not want to miss Newton Rocks, a giant rock cliff down the road from Narragansett beach and most Narragansett rentals. Its serene beauty allows for the perfect picnic backdrop or family photo. You may also want to take the kids on a stroll along the Narrow River which feeds into the bay.

A Little History in Narragansett Rentals

On a family vacation, it is always nice to incorporate a bit of education for the kids. So, during your Rhode Island travel, stop in for a visit at the South County Museum which is not far from most Narragansett rentals. The museum focuses on the history and culture of southern Rhode Island. Located near most Narragansett lodging is also Point Judith Lighthouse, originally built in 1857; it's definitely worth a visit.
