"My stay at this property was simply perfect! Everything is exactly as described, Dan the owner and his wife make themselves easily available before and during your stay should you have any questions at all. The location is perfect! You are able to walk to all restaurants and tons to do in the heart of Newport. The beach and cliff walk if a quick drive or a short bike ride. The house is perfect, charming and updated at the same time! I will definitely be back to stay at this property."

"We stayed for a week and had a fantastic time. Loved the historic nature of Donna's mansion and the unit was much bigger than the pictures indicated. The woodwork and details were beautiful. The Old Beach Road location was ideal and easy to walk to downtown, beach, cliff walk and to the mansions on Bellevue Avenue. Donna was fantastic to work with and communication was superb and instantaneous. Any questions were answered immediately and she could not have been more accommodating. Thank you Donna and hope to visit again soon!!!"

"Had a last minute meeting in Newport RI, and found this wonderful cottage that even took our dogs (2 huskies).
So, my wife and I got to take a wonderful getaway to Newport WITH THE DOGS ! The backyard was great and allowed us to go out to dinner with no worries about their safety! There was also beautiful park less than two blocks away with a gorgeous view of the Ocean when they wanted to be walked on a leash.
The cottage is quaint and really felt comfortable, like a home we’ve want for ourselves. It was a short 12 minute walk to the heart of Newport, through a quiet neighborhood full of historical homes and then along the harbor front and on to the Black Pearl Restaurant, (best clam chowder ever).
The owner, Kathy was really easy to work with, and even had some great suggestions for us. She also sent our deposit back strait away.
The only bad thing about our stay was that it was so short. We are now planning a time when we can stay longer and really enjoy the place. Finding a place in Newport that takes dogs, is comfortable and convenient gets my 5 stars, - a truly rare treat !"

"Our extended family and friends had a wonderful stay in this magnificent Newport home! After driving 11 hour from Toronto, Canada we appreciated very much it's Location, Location, Location! Everything is within easy walking distance, which made it easy to explore the town and stretch our legs. The entrance to the "Cliff Walk "is only a brief 10 minute walk from the house! The harbour and shopping all just down the street. John welcomed us into his lovely home and made us feel right at ease, with his warm, helpful personality. After giving us a tour of the house and a few instructions, left his home for us to use as our own. Also conveniently left for guests to peruse is a binder filled with Newport and surrounds information, plus important local phone #"s.
The house has a wonderful layout, with numerous spots to gather in groups for conversation or if one felt the need to sit off on your own, the lovely living room, library, or dining room offered alternatives. The two large and comfortable very private front and back porches which are surrounded by lovely gardens, were a real treat, one with a porch swing that all enjoyed and plenty of seating for everyone. The large roomy kitchen was were most of us would gather for breakfast and to make plans for the day around the cosy kitchen table with bench style seating overlooking the beautiful backyard, or have evening catch-up conversations about our varied day's activities. All bedrooms were ample size with very comfortable beds.
We were very lucky to have been able to book this location as the Newport Boat Show happened to be on the same weekend that we were attending a special family wedding at the magnificent Rosecliffe mansion, only 10 min. away by car! There were 10 of us all together, who although arriving at different times thru our four day stay, the home accommodated us very comfortably even on the days that we were all there. We were even able to invite a few members of the wedding party over to "our" house to join us for a pizza dinner before they were departing back to NYC. We have more to do and see in Newport so would not hesitate to book again.
Highly recommended. 5 STAR Rating"
