"Best location, walking distance (1/2 block away) from Thames street. House was very large fit 12 women easily. Newly updated, very clean, well stocked with linens/towels, and everything needed to cook in."

"This unit was perfect for our family of 6. Well equipped kitchen, spacious rooms, very clean and great location. The resort pools were a great hit with our kids too."

  • grande dame of jamestown

"all seven family members from teens to 70's had a wonderful week stay at middle sister. she's a wonderful well maintained, equipped and stocked Victorian with spectacular views across narragansett bay to Newport. every we met knew where we were staying as soon as we said "middle sister". if you can force yourself off the porch and her views (pics don't do her justice), its an easy walk to the village shops and the water taxi to Newport. the teens walked to deli, ice cream store and biked & kayaked. owner was very responsive, easy to deal with and informative. my family is so glad her family shares this wonderful home. with 7 bdrms all who wanted private rooms had one and we still had a couple left over. our only regret is we couldn't stay longer though we hope to be fortunate enough to return."

  • Charming and convenient!

"My husband, 2.5 yr old and I rented this charming cabin for a few weeks in June/July 2014. We could not have asked for a more charming, easy and conveniently located space. The Bonnet Shores Cabin is clean, well appointed and in a very quiet neighborhood close to the beach. Traveling with little ones is never easy - but, I have to say having the cabin made it much easier. My husband was able to work while my child and I played in the beautiful yard (filled with bunnies) or in what he called the "toy loft." What a treat for a little one! I was also able to relax. Moms almost never get a break, even on vacation. However, the convenience of having our own space, with a kitchen and laundry, and a source of sesame street (when required) made my life easy. Simple pleasures! I would highly recommend this rental to a couple or a small family like mine. It is a very cozy and relaxing space. Sitting in the yard at night was a romantic treat. This cabin is in walking distance to the beach which is always a plus. There is an adorable market on Boston Neck that you may get to by bike, feet or car. Narragansett pier area is approx. 5 miles south down Boston Neck. There you will find great casual restaurants like Monahan's Clam Shack, and finer dining options such as Turtle Soup, Trios and Basil's. The Picnic Basket is a great spot for sandwiches. Along the way are various spots for ice-cream (Brickley's), coffee, gas, manis/pedis, and even kayak rental. You can bike/walk to Narragansett Pier. And as a side bar - driving to Providence, Newport or Mystic is EASY from Bonnet Shores. The owners were kind and helpful. This was a peaceful and relaxing trip in spite of a small child. Again, we highly recommend this cabin and we will be back!"
