  • Beautiful cottage near the beach

"Loved the house! Good location, about a block from the beach. Scenic views of the salt pond from the back deck. Everything in the house was great- excellent open kitchen with all high end appliances, big bedrooms that can easily sleep 10, 2 very nice indoor full bathrooms plus an outside shower. Comfortable couch and nice flat screen tv. A great sunroom with beautiful views. A new outdoor gas grill. Bikes and beach toys were great. All of the cooking equipment you would need- just buy your own food. Washer/dryer. Ceiling fans keep the house cool- no AC, but we didn't need it with the cool ocean breeze- it actually got a little chilly at night. The area is perfect for families- plenty of good seafood restaurants, ice cream shops. An old amusement park with water slides, mini-golf, go-carts, etc. about 1 mile down the beach. We road the bikes around the amazing neighborhoods- huge million dollar summer homes. The owner is great- any questions we had, he replied immediately. He had lots of tips for the area. They also supplied bedding and towels- just bring your own beach towels. Only 20 minutes to Watch Hill, 30 minutes to Narragansett, 40 minutes to Newport and 1 hour to Providence. Other activities include boating, fishing, surfing, kayaking."

  • Perfect and very quiet location

"We stayed in the villa for a week in July and this is a perfect spot in Newport! Very clean, nice open spaces and still the privacy of all the bedrooms even if you are 5 or 6 couples sharing as we were. Easy walking distance to the beaches and to some nearby restaurants and breakfast places. The owners are amazing, very responsive and caring and you really feel welcome all the time! Will definitely come back again!"

  • Great stay!

"Friends and I and our families rented this unit to meet up for another friend's Newport wedding. It's a nice, well maintained apartment with spacious rooms and a futon-couch in the living room. We enjoyed being able to cook/eat at home and do laundry. Walking distance to all of the Newport downtown area (restaurants, etc). We had 5 adults and three babies (2-15 mo olds, 1-10 mo old) and never felt cramped - plenty of space for pack-n-plays. Perfect for those with young kids, no tub just a shower - so some improv needed there. The upstairs neighbors weren't home most of the time we were there but showed for a little at the end. We could hear walking around, but never had any noise issues - even with napping/early bedtime babies."
