  • Great place for a family reunion/vacation

"We just spent a week there with 12 people ranging in age from 18 months to 70. It was pretty much perfect. As soon as you walk in, the view takes your breath away. There are plenty of different areas to hang out in the house as well as on the screen porch, in the sunroom, on the upstairs deck, on the lower deck... We appreciated the use of the kayaks, Sunfish, bicycles, and beach chairs and toys. Inside, it was not too difficult to child proof for a toddler -- bring plenty of outlet covers and a few bungee cords. The only drawbacks were 1) internet that worked intermittently when used wirelessly -- since we all had iPads we could not plug in the Ethernet cable, and a couple of the guys actually had to work while we were there, and 2) the two bedrooms under the kitchen hear every footstep above; bring earplugs or encourage your early risers to use the downstairs kitchen. Beaches are good; we mainly stuck to the local Charlestown beach as it's a short bike or car ride, and did not find it too crowded. You can kayak to Boater's Beach, which is totally secluded, but a long paddle (about 45 minutes). We got fresh oysters from the oyster "farm" right in Tautog Cove, near the house -- about a one-minute paddle -- yum! I think we'd all happily go back there!"

  • Central - Comfortable

"Wonderful location. Close enough (at least for my gang) to Newport, Bristol, Plymouth, and even Boston. Pleasant experience all around and the town of Warren can stand on its own as a destination if you like just relaxing and eating good seafood. Friendly advice and attention to the details made our rental experience here very enjoyable."

  • Great House, Perfect Location

"Thank you for an amazing week at your lovely Little Compton home. The house was a great location for access to Little Compton beaches and walking distance to the center of town where there is a cute coffee shop and general store. The house was warm and inviting; perfect size for a group of friends or a big family. We loved the information booklet of restaurants and things to do in the quaint town and neighboring towns. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the back porch overlooking the vast greenery in the back yard (our evening wiffle-ball games were so fun). The grill and fire-pit were a nice touch. There is laundry in the basement as well as a ping-pong table. Overall this is a perfect home for a nice week away. We hope to come again for our yearly summer beach trip! Thank you for a wonderful week!"

  • Long Weekend in Westerly for Niece's Wedding

"Great place. Very spacious and clean. Had the family and extended family. Everyone enjoyed themselves and had a great time. Denise was very gracious and easy to work with. Made our stay carefree so we could concentrate on the big wedding and having a great time. Would not hesitate to do it again."
