"This house was just what we needed for our 2 family vacation. The house was spacious and there we're tons of outdoor activities. Our hosts gave us full access to all their toys and their canoe. The pool is big and great for everyone. I recommend this vacation home for everyone. Tennis and golf was only a few minutes drive away as was the grocery and liquor stores. Our hosts were available for all our questions and we're great. Thanks for a great place to call home."

We stayed from Aug1-15 . The house was clean and comfortable
"We were a party of 9,mix adults and children. The very first thing you notice is the breath taking views of the cove and ocean beyond from every window. We all enjoyed walking down to the cove ,the kids loved looking for sea glass , small smooth stones and driftwood. The house's yard faced the cove, was great for relaxing in the late afternoon or early evening after a day at the town beach. The kids enjoyed the beach and yard as well . They liked kite flying and games of tag in the constant breeze we all enjoyed in the yard. The location was perfect too. Some of us went to Newport and others took the children to Battle Ship Cove on our rainy day. A trip later in the week to the Whaling Museum and lunch at the Sakonet Winery al fresco rounded out two beautiful weeks. I enjoyed having coffee every morning in the kitchen and watching the sun come up over the Atlantic in utter peace and quiet. The setting of the house is perfect, The Community of Little Compton is charming. If there is a draw back it this, although there is plenty of town beach space during the week if you plan to use the town beach on Saturday or Sunday arrive early."

"Don't let looks deceive. This compact little beach cottage has everything you could ask for in a summer vacation spot. There are two bedrooms that are comfortable enough for your stay. The kitchen has all the amenities you could ask for, including dish washer, microwave and coffee maker (I guess you can read that in the listing, but it is worth repeating that you have everything you need in the kitchen). The grill and the picnic table outside will become the center of your stay as you enjoy beautiful mornings with coffee viewing the mist coming off the pond to awesome sunsets with outdoor dining that turns into fabulous night time star gazing. You won't be spending too much time in the cottage as everything from the beach, to dining, to shopping are all close by. Pretty much everyday we woke up, took off, and didn't come back till dinner time.
The owner/manager is easy to deal with and communicates often and promptly. No worries there. A word to out of state guests - linens and towels are not supplied. This practice is common to the area, so plan in advance.

"Having a large, active family with everyone going in different directions, it has been difficult to bring my family together this year. This small cottage provided a perfect solution that offered great outdoor activities including clamming, crabbing, fishing, kayaking, nearby beach, clam/ice cream shack and most of all, great memories."
