  • A little piece of heaven

"My family and I spent a week in the top apartment. It was very clean and well maintained. The deck off the back is huge and very private . This was our 8th trip to RI and this place has been the best location. You can walk to the town beach in less than 5 minutes. The beaches are great and loved my time there. The location is perfect, very easy drive to Newport and other locations. There are many great places to eat and drink close by. I hope to go back in a couple years. Liza was great and very easy to communicate with. What a great host - genuinely happy we had a great time."

  • Comfortable, charming, a short walk to the water and good eats in Jamestown!

"I recently spent a long weekend here with my husband, kids, and dog. We all enjoyed the cottage. It was roomy enough for all of us to have our own space but small enough for us to spend time together, too. The expansive one-level layout worked well. The cottage is charming with its intentional antique character. It has the feel of an older era, but with modern amenities like flat screen tv, cable/Internet, and updated appliances in the kitchen. The decor is tasteful and a treat for art enthusiasts. Our kids had a lot of fun playing outdoors in the large yard. There is a fire pit, great for storytelling! The front porch was a nice place to sit and relax. Even our dog had a great time, convinced the bucket of sticks for the fireplace was actually a collection of his favorite chew toys. We're so glad we could bring our dog along on this family get-a-way! We enjoyed walks into town and short drives to some of our favorite locations in Narragansett and Newport. Jamestown was the perfect place for us to stay. We loved being in the sea-side town, able to walk to shops and dining, without the big crowds we found in Newport. There were plenty of things around town to keep us busy, and in our down time, the cottage was very relaxing. We even found a great playground near the cottage that our kids loved, just across the street from a bakery in town. We liked having a kitchen for cooking a few meals, but we found yummy options for breakfast/lunch/dinner all around town, for all budgets. We also found plenty of kid friendly meal options in town, too. This cottage worked with our two kids, ages 5&8. The kids slept on a couch and a build-in window seat. It worked out, but our privacy was limited. While it was nice for the whole family, I think this cottage would also be nice for a couple on a romantic getaway."

  • Great family vacation

"Our family has stayed in this charming rental house a few times. We keep coming back because the owners take care to maintain it well and are great to work with. It has everything you need for a week away with the kids or extended family and friends. With little ones, it is nice that there is a neighborhood playground within walking distance and a big fenced in backyard that they can run around in safely. The area is family-friendly and it is a quick drive to restaurants, shops and beach (or a relaxing walk to the beach if you're not carrying too much stuff). Having free WiFi access is key for us so that's a big plus, and after staying in sweltering rentals with no A/C, we appreciate that as well (will never stay in a rental without it again!) The washer/dryer on the main floor in the mudroom area makes it really easy to toss in all that soggy beach gear at the end of the day before trudging through the house. Love the easy, simple life vibe in Narragansett... looking forward to staying here again this summer."

  • chilly on the outside, but warm and toasty on the inside

"We couldn't have wanted anything more... Our 3 day stay during one of the coldest snaps of November was most enjoyable... Everything was there for us, from the well-stocked kitchen to the fluffiest, most comfortable beds... The views from this home, and access to the State Park were more than perfect... the dining room chandelier, the harvest table, the open concept of the living room, the family furnishings from long ago... Everything was meticulously well thought out to make your guests so comfortable. One wanted to meet the family and hear all the stories!! Thank you for one of our most memorable stays..."
