  • sweet week at the blueberry patch

"Perfect little cottage for a relaxing beach stay! The home was clean and comfortable. Two families traveling together with 2 toddlers and an infant - we were grateful for the playroom/ extra downstairs bedroom. It was private and much larger than we imagined and allowed for spreading out over the house for different nap-times etc. Walking distance to the beach, near restaurants and fruit stand. just perfect. looking forward to renting again!"

  • Great House & Location - Walk Everywhere!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The owners of the property spare no effort to make their guests feel at home with every amenity and provision imaginable - especially for the kitchen and dining room. Don't be fooled by the relatively small size of the house - it is great for large groups with abundant, comfortable seating downstairs, and is very much suitable for small children (bring your own outlet covers and gates for the babies). This is also an ideal house if you have a dog, with its charming fenced-in yard. The neighborhood has everything - restaurants and a Dunkin' Donuts within a short walk on a revitalized Broadway, an abundance of pristine historic Victorian homes, and proximity to both the beaches (long walk to First Beach) and Bellevue Avenue. I highly recommend this property!"

  • Beautiful home in Newport

"We spent a truly wonderful 2 weeks in this charming Newport house with our young family (3 children under 7). The property was ideally situated on the edge of town, a short stroll (5 minutes) into the centre of Newport, where we had a great choice of restaurants & cafes. The house itself was newly renovated and beautifully maintained, with the large back garden being a real bonus for us. The owners were extremely helpful to us in ensuring that our holiday was everything we expected it to be and made themselves contactable throughout our stay. We enjoyed cycling around Ocean Drive and found Gooseberry Beach particularly good for small kids. We have treasured memoried of this vacation, in no small part due to the fact that we chose a perfect place to stay!"

  • As pretty as it looks in the pictures

"We rented this place to attend a wedding close by. We were 5 adults and 2 babies -- so it was important that we found something good for families. We are also designers, so we wanted to experience a house with tasteful decor. The place is exactly how it looks in the photos -- super clean and charming yet modern. I was pleasantly surprised that the upstairs bedroom had a king size bed because it's advertised as a queen on the site. It's also convenient that there is another bedroom on the first floor for those who don't want to deal with stairs and/or have wobbly toddlers. The path in the woods leads to a fun swing that kids will love. There are neighbors close by, but that was reassuring to us in case there was an emergency. The owner, Bill, was very accomodating and answered all my questions promptly. Our one regret is that we didn't have time time use the grill, fire pit, or outdoor shower. The entire town is postcard picturesque. If we could change one thing it would be to allow pets since one of us had a dog that would enjoy running around the yard. However, I would love to one day return and explore this place more."
