  • Fabulous location, wonderful home

"We rented Peek-A-Bay during July and August and we just loved this beautiful home. It is ideally located close to both Newport and Narragansett. House has bright, comfortable, cheery interiors, and is well maintained both inside and out. Linens are clean and well stocked. Loved the kitchen-well equipped with top of the line appliances as well as easy access to outdoor grill, a delight to cook in for our family of 6. Property is private and wooded with a nice sunny backyard and 2 large, well furnished decks. The owners were a pleasure to work, lovely people. We regularly rent houses throughout the US and Caribbean and can highly recommend this home."

  • A great New England escape!

"I am a Gulf Coast boy, raised on warm sandy beaches of Florida and the beautiful bayous and lakes of southern Louisiana, so admittedly I am a bit picky about my waterfront vacations. A friend referred me to this fantastic place when I was going up to Rhode Island for a festival and some sight seeing four years ago. It was magical! I've been back on three separate occasions with a houseful of friends (total of 4 couples) since then. It reminds me of having my own private B&B with friends where we did the cooking and had the place to ourselves. I enjoyed everything about it -- brisk early morning swims in the pond, jogs around a beautiful community, afternoon kayaks to the beach, pitching horse shoes and playing croquet on the lawn under the beautiful canopy of trees, and sipping a glass of wine while the sun set over the water. It is warm, charming and inviting in every way. It's also an easy drive to nearby attractions and the airport. We all found the house to be very spacious, yet cozy at the same time. Breakfasts on the porch and dinners at the dining room table had plenty of room for our crew. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and offered plenty of privacy, but of course we mostly convened in the kitchen or around the table if not down on the water. I already have plans to bring my daughters, both under 10-years old, up for a summer family get away next summer. I know they will love it as much as the grown-ups have if not more. Highly recommended!"

  • Beautiful cottage near the beach

"Loved the house! Good location, about a block from the beach. Scenic views of the salt pond from the back deck. Everything in the house was great- excellent open kitchen with all high end appliances, big bedrooms that can easily sleep 10, 2 very nice indoor full bathrooms plus an outside shower. Comfortable couch and nice flat screen tv. A great sunroom with beautiful views. A new outdoor gas grill. Bikes and beach toys were great. All of the cooking equipment you would need- just buy your own food. Washer/dryer. Ceiling fans keep the house cool- no AC, but we didn't need it with the cool ocean breeze- it actually got a little chilly at night. The area is perfect for families- plenty of good seafood restaurants, ice cream shops. An old amusement park with water slides, mini-golf, go-carts, etc. about 1 mile down the beach. We road the bikes around the amazing neighborhoods- huge million dollar summer homes. The owner is great- any questions we had, he replied immediately. He had lots of tips for the area. They also supplied bedding and towels- just bring your own beach towels. Only 20 minutes to Watch Hill, 30 minutes to Narragansett, 40 minutes to Newport and 1 hour to Providence. Other activities include boating, fishing, surfing, kayaking."

  • a gem in southern RI

"This spot is a perfect place to enjoy spectacular views of Narragansett Bay and the Newport Bridge. Located in a friendly neighborhood, one feels right at home. The accommodations are top rate. It is well stocked with all one needs for an extended stay. The owners are very hospitable and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and satisfying as possible. Next yr. will be our 4th stay at this location--say no more!"
