  • Great Vacation!

"My husband and I just finished a wonderful vacation at this home. The home was clean and accommodating and the location was great. The pictures are a true representation of the home. We kayak and my husband fishes, located on Ninigret Pond we were in the perfect location. The kitchen was fully stocked and we also enjoyed the large screen TV and high-speed wifi. I was surprised as to the amount of channels that were available. The area is quiet and if you have a boat, there is a launch a very short distance from the house, the house itself has a very sturdy dock. It is centrally located to all South County has to offer. The owners are great and made sure we were comfortable, if we needed anything I knew they were just a phone call away. We have rented other homes in this general area and have found this home to be the best we have stayed at to date."

  • Great Place

"This house was a wise choice for our visit to Newport. With two couples and 2 young children, we had plenty of space to relax. We were near all the attractions; we walked to the beach, dinner in town, and mansion tours. We also drove to other beaches, went whale watching, ate local sea food, shopped a farmers market, and took a sunset sail boat ride. This place was an excellent home base to watch a movie with the kids, relax with a book, grill a home cooked meal. The house was clean, neighbors welcoming and owner accommodating."

  • Beyond Expectation

"We rented this beautiful home for a vacation with my husband's teen-aged daughters and a couple of our friends. We all agreed (even the teens!) that this was a wonderful home. I have rented quite a few homes on Martha's Vineyard, and none of them compare to this amazing home. The decor, amenities, location and view are second to none. The home felt brand-new (but not sterile) and was very welcoming. The sunsets viewed from an adirondack chair on the deck were breathtaking. And if you like to cook, this kitchen will give you the urge to go home and renovate your own! If you are considering the rental of this home over another; think no more- pick this one!"

  • Beautiful and spacious home; gracious owners.

"Jane and Jason's home was 'our' home for a few days and a long awaited family reunion. It truly did feel like home! From the loving and thoughtful touches to the great communication with the owners...from the great yard where my sons and grandsons played Thanksgiving games of football...from the overall cleanliness, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and ample area which allowed for both privacy and community gathering…we had a fantastic time. The home is set up with near equal living areas on each floor, which worked well for us. We had some late sleepers and some early risers and other diverse needs- it allowed us to accommodate all including the little ones very nicely. The Charlestown beach was just moments away; even in November, we had great fun running from the waves, collecting sea rocks and shells and even catching an early morning sunrise. We traveled into Newport one day to experience the Cliff Walk and other sites of interest and historic significance; we found it to be an easy half hour or so drive and we highly recommend it! Shopping was convenient with village stores a very short distance, and bigger stores for major shopping were an easy 10/15 minute car ride. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. We enjoyed the ping pong table in the basement, and the availability of sports balls and even bikes. We had a bit of apprehension renting from an independent home owner though the Homeaway site – we’ve only done it one time before. We took comfort from the fact that Jason and Jane had been listed here for a number of years, with well-spaced and very positive reviews. Our actual dealings with them were, from start to finish, outstanding. Their hospitality, generosity and integrity made it feel very easy and safe and indeed it was just that.Thank you to both for a truly great experience."
