  • Great winter rental

"This house on a quiet cul-de-sac worked out very well for our two four-member families, with each family having a floor to itself and sharing the kitchen. The house was spotless and the owners made it very easy for us. Laura and Greg were very friendly and followed up to make sure all was well. I highly recommend the Fishery and the consignment shops which are very close by. We spent Xmas here and would rent from Laura again."

  • Wonderful House in Jamestown... Highly Recommend

"We decided last minute to book a family get away to RI. Being that we live in Southern CT we didn't want to travel to far so we decided on RI. Have never been to Jamestown before we didn't know what to expect. Boy were we pleasantly surprised.... Jamestown is a very quaint beach town with wonderful sites to see and great restaurants and beaches. It offers close proximity to the other RI towns but without the crowds. You can pop into Newport to shop, eat or go to the beach and then leave to peace and quiet. Being that I work in NYC on a daily basis escaping the noise and the crowds is important to me. Now on to the house.... It is the perfect beach getaway. We have 2 boys (1 and 2.5 years old)... Very active and adventurous. The house was perfect for them. There is a nice sized back yard with a play set. My oldest would spend hours out there playing. The best part of the house is it's proximity to Mackerel Cove Beach (2 min walk). Katherine has an ATW - all terrain wagon (which tenants can use) so you load it up with all your beach gear and two minutes later your feet are in the ocean. Traveling with young children is never easy so having these resources available make it a bit easier. I cannot not also say enough good things about Mackerel Cove Beach. It's on a cove so the waves aren't too big. Perfect for young swimmers to get their water time to swim or hunt shells. The best part about it is that it is never overly crowded. I was there last week in Aug (prime time) and the beach was never too busy. Lastly being that the house is so close to the beach you get a cool breeze when sitting on the covered porch. It was never to hot or humid with the fresh ocean air blowing gently by the house. I will be planning another return to this house as it is the perfect family getaway."

  • A great break from the world.....

"This is a great property which we have rented for the past four years. Clean and well supplied this house is now part of our lives. The owner is a gracious host who takes a personal interest in our vacation needs and experience. I have recommended this to family and friends. You cannot go wrong renting this cottage."

  • Great family vacation

"Our family has stayed in this charming rental house a few times. We keep coming back because the owners take care to maintain it well and are great to work with. It has everything you need for a week away with the kids or extended family and friends. With little ones, it is nice that there is a neighborhood playground within walking distance and a big fenced in backyard that they can run around in safely. The area is family-friendly and it is a quick drive to restaurants, shops and beach (or a relaxing walk to the beach if you're not carrying too much stuff). Having free WiFi access is key for us so that's a big plus, and after staying in sweltering rentals with no A/C, we appreciate that as well (will never stay in a rental without it again!) The washer/dryer on the main floor in the mudroom area makes it really easy to toss in all that soggy beach gear at the end of the day before trudging through the house. Love the easy, simple life vibe in Narragansett... looking forward to staying here again this summer."
