  • Lovely location and home

"Our first sisters' gathering in 10 years was a wonderful event, due in great part to our location. We all love seaports and the location of the house was perfect-directly behind The Elms mansion. Despite a record-breaking winter, and being from the south, the home was warm and inviting. Warm is a bit of a misnomer, as the heat did not work at first. But, unlike many owners, ours was quick to respond and a repairman arrived within 2 hours of our calling (on a Sunday evening!) and we were toasty from that point forward. The kitchen and baths were well-appointed and the bedding was comfortable. The only drawback was the dining room and living room furniture was not conducive to group gathering (extremely uncomfortable)."

  • Enjoying Little Compton!

"We enjoy this clean and comfortable home very much! We have rented this Little Compton home in different seasons over the past few years. We have always enjoyed it very much and we always look forward to returning. The owner is responsive and accomodating. The home works well for a few people or a larger group. The first floor with its open plan is great! You feel that you are part of the group even if you are in the kitchen! The full bath and bedroom on the first floor are very convenient. However, for your guests/family there is another bathroom with a shower and three bedrooms upstairs! All the amenities from the wide screen TV to the washer & dryer in the basement only add to the enjoyment of this wonderful home! The location is wonderful for walking! There are neighboring streets that make a walk with your canine companion most enjoyable! Also, the back deck off the kitchen is a great spot to sit & relax. The home is in a great location to access the beach or to go to the center of Little Compton! My family & I look forward very much to returning to this Little Compton home!"

  • Great little beach house!

"We first rented this vacation home back in 2004 and have spent more than 12 weeks here over the years. Great location. Well maintained and very clean home. Owner does upgrades each year. Easy walk to the beach and plenty to do in the Narragansett / Point Judith area. Never had any issues over the years, the owner is responsive and easy to deal with. We will rent here again for sure!"

  • Comfortable and Nicely Decorated

"Ben’s house is comfortable and nicely decorated, and more than a good size for 2 adults and 4 teen girls. The girls had their own upstairs area with two bedrooms, affording the other bedroom with en suite bathroom adequate privacy without being too far away. It was the perfect setup. Plus, there is another bedroom downstairs that went unused. We cooked meals often at the house and the grocery stores are close and easy to get to. The kitchen is equipped with just about everything you need. Newport is close and we took a few trips in for shopping, sightseeing, dinner, and ice cream. The girls spent a shopping day in Providence as well while the grownups browsed the Brown University bookstore after eating lunch on Thayer Street. The sunrises and sunsets observed from the wall of windows on the top floor, or on the beach, were beautiful and worth setting your alarm for. We went at the end of August and it was the perfect end to the summer affording great summer memories."
