  • It's all they wrote!

"I can echo the glowing reviews that got me interested in this property. We had no car during our stay and didn't miss it because we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. It was total immersion in the best of historic Charleston, starting with the condo itself. The luxury of having a spacious living room to relax and regroup in was integral to the authentic experience. The owner, Robert, was gracious and attentive to making it a good experience for us. We would love to return!"

  • Idyllic summer in Charleston

"Our daughter stayed here while attending a session of summer school at the College of Charleston. The townhouse was much bigger than she needed, but the location made it ideal. The neighborhood felt safe, and she was close to the school, a grocery store, lots of restaurants, and many historical attractions. The home was clean, well-maintained, well-appointed, and accurately reflected the description posted on VRBO. The owner of the townhouse was friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt in replying to questions. We definitely recommend this property."

  • Wow! Great place, amazing hosts!

"This is a charming, well equipped carriage house suite with all the amenities you could imagine, the sweetest and most helpful hosts, off street parking and wonderful neighborhood. 5 minute walk to downtown Charleston, 15 minute drive to beach at Sullivans Island. Harris Teeter is just around the corner for supplies. AND we could bring our doggie too. We enjoyed our little home away from home enough to enjoy hanging out in the living room or on the spacious balcony with a view of their lovely courtyard garden. I just can't say enough about how accommodating and friendly the hosts are. They gave us great information to make our getaway even better. Tips: 2 small flights of somewhat Narrow stairs to apartment and that was fine with us. Walk everywhere but be prepared, Charleston is very hot & humid, though it's also very shady. Walking early or later afternoon is best but hat, sunglasses, water and following the shady routes help. Keep your pup leashed and don't forget to close and latch the gates to the driveway when you come & go. Check out Pure Barre on Market in downtown, excellent studio! Fig, Husk, Circa 1886 are all great restaurants, but you can hardly go wrong - we even liked Johnny Condons. We also ate many meals at "home", it was so cozy being there. Construction situation was barely noticeable. Just bring your clothes and get food/beverage supplies when you get there - the hosts thought of everything else you might want."

  • Cute & Clean!

"This is a lovely well kept little cottage. The neighborhood is perfect for walking, with a dog or not, diverse and quiet. Felt like I was a regular in 2 days! While not in the middle of things, Charleston is so easy to get around and it was actually nicer to go back to the quiet little neighborhood after our day. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance and it was a quick getaway on day of departure since it is close to highway. Most important to me is cleanliness and this place is really clean, especially considering the age of the cottage. Very warm with attention to detail. Only negative is a dark kitchen - needs some brighter lights in there."
