  • Fabulous restored historic home!

"This house is an amazing find! I’ll second what others have said that it is beautifully restored – the pictures hardly do it justice. Truly lovely! We stayed on the 2nd floor unit, and the bathroom was wonderful (sometimes historic homes=historic plumbing). This one has a huge shower with a rainfall shower head and a great vanity with tons of drawers- this made it easy to share with three of us staying there. The courtyard is just stunning. It has a great water feature greeting you when you walk up every time you come home. As for location, if you come to Charleston by car, it’s terrific! We have some friends in Charleston and stay there a couple times a year. I’ll be honest; staying “on King St” is not as great as it sounds if you drive anywhere while you’re there. Getting on/off/around that main tourist street can be a traffic nightmare. This house is a short, safe, 3 minute walk away from the main drag, so getting there on foot is easy, and the short distance away makes driving to other parts of Charleston you may wish to visit so much easier! You have easy access to the interstate, Bay St, etc. The private parking around back is great to have access to. The owners of the home are great people, and even welcomed us some cold waters in the fridge – a great thing to have in the summer months! I adore Aiken-Rhett so sharing a street with that historic home was an added bonus in my book."

  • Heart of Charleston

"Great townhouse in a perfect location. We were a 15 minute walk or less from all the sights we wanted to see. The accommodations were very nice. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip into town."

  • Perfect weekend get away

"We come to Charleston several times a year and this was our first time renting instead of a hotel. This was the cutest, most charming place. It was in walking distance to upper king which has come back to life. There are plenty of places with in a two minute walk right down the street. As much as I claim to be half local this definitely made me feel at home. It was everything I love about old homes in Charleston. I didn't want to leave! We will be back soon!"
