  • Great time!

"This was a great place to stay! There was just enough space for the two of us. The location was truly to die for...we could walk two mins or less and be at great restaurants. The market was a few blocks down. The condo itself was clean when we arrived. The owner was extremely nice and easy to get in touch with. I would strongly recommend staying here!"

  • Great Stay at The Vista!

"My husband and I enjoyed a 3-night stay at The Vista booked through Kiawah Island Getaways. The condo really does have "sweeping ocean views," and is quite comfortable and romantic for a couple. Would be a great honeymoon spot, not that we were on one ... we're an OLD married couple! GIGANTIC, COMFORTABLE bed and HUGE television sets in the living room and bedroom. If your eyes are open, you're at the beach! beautiful views from the picture window in the living room, the sliding doors in the bedroom, and from the small deck. Ride the elevator down to the boardwalk to the wide, private beach. Fine dining opportunities abound at Kiawah - we tried Hegge's and The Atlantic Room this year. Oh yeah, this wasn't our first trip to Kiawah; we've been many times. Even though we own a condominium at Pawleys Island (Another great SC vacation spot!), we can't stay away from Kiawah."

  • Great place to stay!

"My family visited Kiawah Island a second time for our annual beach trip. Last year we stayed at one of the Night Heron cottages which had been newly renovated but still was dirty with way more bugs than we like to see on vacation. We definitely preferred the Tennis Club Villa even though it was a longer (but pretty easy 10 minute bike ride). Our villa accommodated our family of 5 perfectly. Linens were new and plenty and the kitchen was fully stocked."

  • Super Home for Family Togetherness!

"This beautiful home (much more than just a house) has everything anyone could ask for and more! Our family of 9 greatly enjoyed our week here, from the comfortable furnishings on the inside, to a well-stock kitchen (we were able to host 6 additional family members for a special dinner for 15 on Sunday), and the lush greenery on the outside (the secluded backyard is so peaceful). The owners were very helpful and quickly responded to our requests, both prior to our visit when we were planning for our vacation as well as when we got here and had a problem with the TV (it was quickly replaced). We highly recommend this home for others, as it is located within a quick walk/bike ride to the ocean. Plus, with 8 bikes in the garage, the beach chairs and beach toys/boards, there is no need to pack all of that or worry about rentals once here. Another awesome perk about this home is the flexibility regarding arrival day. As opposed to many other options which rent Sat-Sat or Sun-Sun, this home has the added benefit of being rented as available, which made a Tues-Tues rental the perfect option for the destination wedding we attended in Charleston on Saturday. A great all around choice! :)"

Dewees Island Travel Tips

Dewees Island Vacation Rentals Are a Peaceful Choice

Dewees Island vacation rentals are a peaceful choice for vacationing couples and newlyweds. People love the serene beauty of the island area and the friendliness of the locals. Dewees Island vacation rentals are a great choice for people who want to enjoy the wild nightlife of nearby Charleston from the privacy and solitude of a comfortable rental. If you visit Dewees Island between May and October, you may even get to see the amazing sea turtles hatching, and finding their way back to the water. People on Dewees Island also love the shell fishing their pristine waters afford.

Relax in the Natural Beauty of Dewees Island Beach Rentals

People in South Carolina travel to Dewees Island beach rentals in order to visit the Nature Center and to enjoy the breathtaking ferry rides. Much like Annie Dillard's scenery in The Maytrees, Dewees Island beach rentals are set in such a simple, untouched setting that it feels like a Hollywood production of what a beach should be. After a day strolling in the sands of the Isle of Palms Beach, treat yourself to a makeover at Simply Hairresistible and a great meal at the Morgan Creek Grill. Locals also love the charming, understated option, Long Island Café.

Charleston Condos Area Ideally Located for Fun

Charleston beach rentals, like the ones in Dewees Island, are ideally located for fun and adventure. In just a quick 12-mile trip you could enjoy an evening in Charleston, and then return to a private Charleston area condo for peace and quiet at nighttime. People in the Charleston area know how to have fun, so you will never need to wonder what to do next, as you'll always feel included in the energy of the area. After exploring Charleston, you will want to make it an annual trip.
