  • February at Edisto Beach

"Wonderful month spent at this Edisto Beach condo. Close enough to Charleston and Savannah and everywhere in between! Nice and quiet in February which is how we like it. Plenty of places to eat out on the island too! And only a mile walk/bike ride to the beach! Librarian at the Edisto Island library very helpful with what not to miss on the island--Botany Bay Rd."

  • Mom/Memaw

"This was the first time I ever rented a house at the beach. My grandchildren from Oklahoma had never visited the ocean. They had an awesome time together with their SC cousins and memaw. We enjoyed watching the sun come up and set as well as collecting buckets of pretty shells. We visited the few local attractions and traveled to Charleston for a day. I glad that there was little shopping and amusement opportunities like other beaches. This meant we spent time together as a family rather than money for someone to amuse us! The house had a well supplied kitchen and plenty of room for all five adults and six kids. There were a few minor repairs that need made like holes in the screens, blinds that didn't work and it's hardwood floors need refinished. Overlooking these few things, made this a rewarding time together with family."

  • Lovely jewel on the water

"When we opened the door to this lovely villa apartment, we literally gasped. How did we get so lucky?! We gazed in at a jewel of a home, beautiful and inviting, it's windows and balcony beckoning the light and offering dazzling views of the marina and sound. We've visited Edisto many times but this was our first experience on the riverfront around the bay point. A different ecosystem from the bay, oceanfront or marsh, the marina introduces the sounds of birds, boats and fishing and yet a new sort of happy human chatter on the dock. It's a short walk to the bay point for sunset dolphin watching (and they do show up right on time to watch us). The villa itself was pristine as our hosts offered, clean and pretty, not "sterile" at all but not overdone. It's a loved little home, roomy for 2-4 people, with comfy beds and spotless baths. The kitchen was cute and full service so eating in was easy and appealing. The art, books and game collection made TV and WiFi unnecessary, gliding the lily. Convenient location, access to the best of Edisto Beach, in a well managed condo complex. Our hosts were warm and friendly to correspond with. Hard to say what we liked best, but sitting on the balcony overlooking the water sure is good for the heart and mind."

  • Happy 4th of July at Edisto

"SUCH AN AWESOME HOUSE!!!!!! More than I expected!!! Accommodated ages ranging from 15, 14, 12, 10 year old and 4 adults. Hurricane Arthur only put a small damper on one day....this Mama wasn't letting anyone get in that crazy ocean :) The only thing I would recommend is that there is separate cable boxes in each room...that would have helped us out greatly during our "Arthur" day. Thanks so much for sharing your house with us. I will recommend to many friends and hope to book again."
