  • Edisto Beach Trip

"Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nice and clean. We had a great time. We had fun watching the golfers look for their golf balls. The only drawback was the furniture on the porch was a little uncomfortable. Manager responded on 10/29/2014: Patricia, We have just received your review. Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We are thrilled that your group had an enjoyable getaway at Club Cottage - 840 on Edisto Beach. • Lovely jewel on the water

"When we opened the door to this lovely villa apartment, we literally gasped. How did we get so lucky?! We gazed in at a jewel of a home, beautiful and inviting, it's windows and balcony beckoning the light and offering dazzling views of the marina and sound. We've visited Edisto many times but this was our first experience on the riverfront around the bay point. A different ecosystem from the bay, oceanfront or marsh, the marina introduces the sounds of birds, boats and fishing and yet a new sort of happy human chatter on the dock. It's a short walk to the bay point for sunset dolphin watching (and they do show up right on time to watch us). The villa itself was pristine as our hosts offered, clean and pretty, not "sterile" at all but not overdone. It's a loved little home, roomy for 2-4 people, with comfy beds and spotless baths. The kitchen was cute and full service so eating in was easy and appealing. The art, books and game collection made TV and WiFi unnecessary, gliding the lily. Convenient location, access to the best of Edisto Beach, in a well managed condo complex. Our hosts were warm and friendly to correspond with. Hard to say what we liked best, but sitting on the balcony overlooking the water sure is good for the heart and mind."

  • Relaxing Cottage by the Sea

"We so enjoyed this adorable little cottage by the sea. The rocking chairs are very comfortable on the porch! Since the weather was bad, we read and rocked quite a bit! It was very clean. Edisto Beach is a little slice of heaven. The second bathroom under the house is a little inconvenient, but the three of us just shared the main bathroom. Would love to stay here again someday!"

  • Edisto Intact

"I would like to preface this review by stating that my family grew up making annual trips from Northern Ohio to Edisto Island, SC. We have stayed at the State Park, Beachfront Housing and everything in between. Took a six year hiatus and after deciding to return hesitantly settled on Pyramid Pointe as our home base. While some of the changes to the island were disturbing/disappointing - Golf Carts EVERYWHERE, no Bell Buoy Seafood, Piggly Wiggly now called Bi-Lo! - Pyramid Pointe brought us back to the Edisto we knew and loved. As the owner states, be it in a more kind southern way, this is NOT a house for Yuppies (never fear Yuppies... a portion of Edisto Island now seems ready for you). Our Edisto reunion include a new generation (two children under two) and the Pyramid Pointe location provided endless entertainment for all ages. Rent the boats (all of them), bring your bikes (a very nice ride through a soon to be developed area ending where Scott Creek hits the ocean) and leave your golf cart at home! For anyone asking "Where's the Beach?"... it is about a quarter mile in front of Pyramid Pointe!"
