Great little place!
"We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this little gem. The description of a basement apartment had me wondering if it would be completely underground. Not so! Only partially, plenty of windows and sunshine! Very simple and clean. Owners were very friendly and informative. The only caution to anyone renting is that if you expect anything fancy like upgraded countertops, dishwasher or fancy linens you will be disappointed. Like I said simple and clean which was what I was looking for. Nice screened in porch and just a few steps to the front porch where I watched the fishing boats and dolphins for hours. A few steps to the beach too. The owners were nice enough to leave out 2 beach chairs for our use also! Will definitely be renting here again!"

"Our family enjoyed our stay very much. The large open plan allowed us to keep up with 2 small children under 3 very well. The view was great and you could enjoy the sea breeze on the large screened porch. No paved road to cross to get to the beach meant less worry with small children. The house is well appointed right down to the kitchen utensils. 4 bedrooms and a bath for each ...what more can you ask for? Well, one more thing...my furr babies got to come too!"

"We really enjoyed our short stay. The home was very nice with a great view. The six seat golf cart was a hit, and nice transportation to and from the close beach. The home was clean and roomy with plenty of seating, but really could use new living room furniture, but that would not be a deal breaker for us and would definitely go back again."

"I would like to preface this review by stating that my family grew up making annual trips from Northern Ohio to Edisto Island, SC. We have stayed at the State Park, Beachfront Housing and everything in between. Took a six year hiatus and after deciding to return hesitantly settled on Pyramid Pointe as our home base. While some of the changes to the island were disturbing/disappointing - Golf Carts EVERYWHERE, no Bell Buoy Seafood, Piggly Wiggly now called Bi-Lo! - Pyramid Pointe brought us back to the Edisto we knew and loved. As the owner states, be it in a more kind southern way, this is NOT a house for Yuppies (never fear Yuppies... a portion of Edisto Island now seems ready for you). Our Edisto reunion include a new generation (two children under two) and the Pyramid Pointe location provided endless entertainment for all ages. Rent the boats (all of them), bring your bikes (a very nice ride through a soon to be developed area ending where Scott Creek hits the ocean) and leave your golf cart at home!
For anyone asking "Where's the Beach?"... it is about a quarter mile in front of Pyramid Pointe!"
