"You just don't want to leave! Our stay at Berry'd Treasure was amazing! Grab a cup of coffee and relax on one of the porches or stroll down to the floating dock. You will instantly lose track of time watching the painted buntings on the bird feeder or seeing the occasional dolphin swim through the tidal creek. A small walk to the beach and you can easily spend the day swimming or looking for shells. The house has all the comforts of home, books, games, puzzles and VHS and DVD players. You have so many places to sit and do a large group activity or break away and enjoy a smaller group or be in complete solitude. We played games with the kids and could still have our own time together. Then you end the day the way you started, substitute wine for coffee and find a spot to take in nature."

"Edisto is a magical place that I hope to return to. So very laid back, most relaxing vacation I've ever had. Moondragger is the perfect vacation home, it lives so well, I swear it cleans itself, either that or my kids were secretly picking up all the time when I wasn't looking....Nah..it must clean itself! It's a magical house! Loved the breezes and the nature all around. We had fun catching blue crabs and preparing them as a family. The tidal creek and marshes are a wonder, almost as fabulous as the ocean. We ventured into Charleston one day, and it was nice, but couldn't wait to get back to Edisto and the Moondragger. It's a nice walk to the beach, and we did it often, but our serious beaching days we went to the state park, utilized the tucked away shelter far back to the left as you face the water. Couldn't even believe our luck...it is up for grabs when not reserved! Best beach spot ever! Thank you for sharing your home, we would for sure like to rent it again:)"

"1 bedroom directly on the ocean! This property is a very small apartment underneath the main house. There is no ocean view, but the owner invites you to sit on the upstairs deck where the view is spectacular. The owner is very sweet and receptive to all questions. Again, the apartment is very small, but who goes to the beach to stay inside. The kitchen is completely equipped, but no dishwasher. Owner has washer and dryer available. Owner left two very nice beach chairs for our use. Highly recommend for a couple or a single traveler.
Edisto is filled with restaurants, beach shops. Botany Bay is beautiful. There is a fresh fish market, fresh vegetable markets, a Bi-Low close by. No high rises, water parks, etc. I will definitely come back to this property, maybe try in the spring when not so unmercifully hot!"

"My sister and I fell in love with the pictures, but were enchanted by the actual place. We were there during the recent historical rain. Although it saddened us to see the damage done by thw storm, we had a great adventure that week, watching the forces of nature.
The house itself couldnt be nicer. It has everything, views, both front and back, comfortable furniture, and the kitchen is well furnished.
I talked with Mike several times because of uncertainty about the weather, and he was so nice. He and Ellen came to check on the place after the storm, and they are both very gracious people.
I do hope to go back again."
