  • Great House for Boaters

"We are water people and this house was great for us. It is very comfortable and feels like home. The outside kitchen allows you to do such things as low country boil and keep the mess out of the house. We were very satisfied."

  • Edisto Intact

"I would like to preface this review by stating that my family grew up making annual trips from Northern Ohio to Edisto Island, SC. We have stayed at the State Park, Beachfront Housing and everything in between. Took a six year hiatus and after deciding to return hesitantly settled on Pyramid Pointe as our home base. While some of the changes to the island were disturbing/disappointing - Golf Carts EVERYWHERE, no Bell Buoy Seafood, Piggly Wiggly now called Bi-Lo! - Pyramid Pointe brought us back to the Edisto we knew and loved. As the owner states, be it in a more kind southern way, this is NOT a house for Yuppies (never fear Yuppies... a portion of Edisto Island now seems ready for you). Our Edisto reunion include a new generation (two children under two) and the Pyramid Pointe location provided endless entertainment for all ages. Rent the boats (all of them), bring your bikes (a very nice ride through a soon to be developed area ending where Scott Creek hits the ocean) and leave your golf cart at home! For anyone asking "Where's the Beach?"... it is about a quarter mile in front of Pyramid Pointe!"

  • Fabulous Intimate Wedding Location

"We held our daughter's wedding at Toogoodoo Bluff at the end of September 2014. We had a fabulous time. She wanted a wedding with low country feel but not necessarily a "huge" plantation. She also wanted to be able to spend the entire weekend at her venue with the wedding party relaxing, spending the time with friends and family and making memories to last a lifetime. She wanted a place steeped in history, beauty and serenity. We found everything we desired when we found Toogoodoo Bluff. The wedding of her dreams took place and we can't say enough about how beautiful and serene everything was. God truly blessed us with a beautiful day. I am so thankful to Keith, the owner, and for finding such an exquisite place for my daughter to fulfill the wedding of her dreams. I hope to come back some day and have a family reunion here. Thanks again Keith and Toogoodoo Bluff. Amber F."

  • HEAVENLY VIEW

"I planned this trip as a 40th birthday surprise for my husband, and he said this was the best birthday he ever had!! This house is a simple beach cottage, feels very much like a home. The back porch that is screened and is only feet away from the ocean is AMAZING!! My family had a wonderful time, we were all able to relax and unwind from busy schedules. We will definitely be going back this summer and probably will be staying at #32109 from now on. I can't say enough wonderful things about this cottage, maybe that I imagine Heaven would have a similar view could sum it up...Thank you Grace for answering all my questions and sharing such a special place!"
