I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was very happy with the location.
The vacation rental was spotless.
The property manager was very helpful.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Wonderful place for a family to stay. My grand sons were delighted with the sea life, they saw dolphins in the creek, a very large horseshoe crab swim by at the inlet, caught blue crabs and fish, picked up many, many shells and another large horseshoe crab shell along the beach.(Their parents almost had to rent a U-Haul :). The view would have been spectacular if some of the trees were pruned around the top deck. The limit on cars created an issue for us. We were constantly playing musical chairs to see who's car would be off property. Some husbands and wives had to each drive a car due to their work. We had 4 cars for 4 people. It would be nice to have had a safe place to park the overflow, instead of using an open parking lot off property. I would definitely rent again if I can resolve the parking issue.

We have just received your review. Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with your feedback! We are so pleased that your family had a wonderful vacation at Hammocks Heaven on Edisto Beach. We are happy to hear that your grand sons were able to soak up all of the beautiful wildlife that Edisto has to offer. The 4 car limit at the property is set in place by the Hammocks HOA to co-inside with the 10pm noise ordinance and restriction on parties. We would love to be your host on Edisto anytime! We are always a phone call away!

"My husband , Brother and I brought our 95 year old Dad to Edisto Beach to celebrate his Birthday. We all enjoyed the condo. It is in a wonderful location ........Very relaxing. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for the real "low-country" experience."

"We spent about a week in this wonderfully, warm home at the end of September with two of our adult children. We had such a wonderful time. It was close enough to all we wanted to see and far enough out to relax and enjoy some nature. We kayaked every day out to the ocean and even caught a couple of crabs with the crab pot. I would highly recommend this wonderful home to anyone. Would love to make it a yearly retreat."

"I would like to preface this review by stating that my family grew up making annual trips from Northern Ohio to Edisto Island, SC. We have stayed at the State Park, Beachfront Housing and everything in between. Took a six year hiatus and after deciding to return hesitantly settled on Pyramid Pointe as our home base. While some of the changes to the island were disturbing/disappointing - Golf Carts EVERYWHERE, no Bell Buoy Seafood, Piggly Wiggly now called Bi-Lo! - Pyramid Pointe brought us back to the Edisto we knew and loved. As the owner states, be it in a more kind southern way, this is NOT a house for Yuppies (never fear Yuppies... a portion of Edisto Island now seems ready for you). Our Edisto reunion include a new generation (two children under two) and the Pyramid Pointe location provided endless entertainment for all ages. Rent the boats (all of them), bring your bikes (a very nice ride through a soon to be developed area ending where Scott Creek hits the ocean) and leave your golf cart at home!
For anyone asking "Where's the Beach?"... it is about a quarter mile in front of Pyramid Pointe!"
