"Wow!! Beth has great rental properties. We just rented this one and a few years ago we rented her other house. They are both great. Always very clean and comfortable. We love Folly Beach and try to come very often. We will definetely rent these houses again. Thanks Beth for sharing your lovely houses so we can enjoy a fantastic vacation. Would love for you to email me and let me know where and what kind of sheets you buy. Thanks again!!!"

  • Amazing family vacation!

"My family of 6 could not have had a better time in your home! Your attention to detail did not go unnoticed. My husband and I ended up sleeping upstairs near the family room, and our kids slept in the 3 bedrooms down a level from us. Everyone had their own space if they wanted it (including decks), and the family room is big enough for us to come together. We really appreciated the recommendations for places to go while we were in Folly Beach for the first time. We loved the pizza at Woody's! We rented a golf cart while we were there. It was nice to leave the mini van parked in the driveway. It was very easy to park when we went into town. This was the first time all 6 of us got in the ocean together. The beach and waves are perfect! The way the beach and water get gradually deeper made our kids all love the ocean (ages 7-14). We had a great time collecting sea shells. I wish we would have collected more to bring home! We didn't go crabbing or fishing off the pier, but we'll do it next time. Thank you for taking such great care of this home!"

  • A Nice Vacation

"Reviews tend to be overly positive or negative, so I am writing this as objectively as possible. The house itself is a typical beach rental with lots of room. Most of the bedrooms are on the "first" floor with a master on the "main" or second floor. The great room has an ajoining dining area with a big table which was great for our group of 9. (One word of caution regarding the stairs; it's a long way up for older folks who may not be as mobile as they once were.) We have stayed at different houses at different beaches over the years and I have to say the view of the marsh from the deck is wonderful, with epic sunsets. Beach access is easy through a vacant lot a few doors south, and is much quicker than walking north to the "real" access point. One great thing about Folly Beach, particularly the north end, is how less crowded it is compared to most places. You have tons of room to put up your own awing/umbrella/whatever and not bother anyone else. The house itself was in okay material condition, but some cosmetic work is needed. Stuff like a towel ring pulled out of the wall and some broken door jams need to get fixed, but with a summer's worth of wear and tear, that type of thing is not unexpected. The only problem we had with the house was that the two gas tanks were empty (one right in the middle of cooking). This type of thing shouldn't be left up to the renter to go deal with, which is how it was recommended to me (pay for the gas/get reimbursed). Overall, it was a really nice vacation and I would recommend this place to anyone."

Private Homes Travel Tips

Save Money When You Stay in Folly Beach House Rentals

If you're traveling with a group of friends or family (or even just as a couple), house rentals are much more affordable than hotels. Not only do you get more space for less money, you don't have to eat out all the time. You can actually enjoy home cooked meals. You can have cereal around for breakfast and lunch meat in the fridge for your picnic. Eating is much simpler in Folly Beach lodging in private house rentals.

Go Fishing in Folly Beach

Folly Beach is a favorite fishing spot, thanks to the mild temperatures in the low country. You can go river fishing, pier fishing, deep-sea sport fishing or surf fishing. It's a happy place for a fisherman. The Florida pompano is the most prized local catch, since it's delicious and puts up a real fight. You can also catch flounder, bluefish, black drum, whiting, spotted sea trout and many others. And, if you stay in Folly Beach house rentals, you can catch fresh fish and cook them for dinner!

Live Like a Local

When you stay in Folly Beach beach rentals, you get to enjoy the island life like the locals do. You can walk around the neighborhood and feel what it's like to live on an island. Perhaps, after staying in Folly Beach vacation rentals, you'll start planning to move there for your retirement!

Enjoy the Beach: Stay in Folly Beach Beach Rentals

Naturally, Folly Beach beach rentals are close to the beach. There's nothing like an ocean fix to make you feel like you're getting a real vacation. Watch your kids run in the water and find shells in the sand. Enjoy the sunset as the waves come rolling in. What could be better than the beach?
