"This was a perfect spot for our three generation family vacation. The beach was right there! We enjoyed watching the pelicans glide by and kept hoping the nearby turtle nests would hatch while we were there. Tide pools at low tide were the perfect place for the little ones to play. The kitchen was well stocked which pleased my son who loves to cook for all of us. We could tell the house had been enjoyed by many families as there were some minor things that needed repair (torn screens on the porch, loose tiles in bathroom) but they didn't hinder our enjoyment. Hope the beautiful wood floors will be salvaged when the house is razed, they added such a nice character to the home."

"We couldn't be happier with our decision to vacation at Folly Beach this summer!
Sea Spot was the perfect house for our family of 12!
The upstairs was perfect for the " 20/30 something's " while the parents enjoyed the downstairs!
We enjoyed sightseeing in Charleston as well as lots of time on beautiful Folly Beach! Being so close to downtown Folly was perfect... We enjoyed eating at Rita's, The Crab Shackand The Lost Dog Cafe.... Excellent food all around!
Thank you, Gail for your super quick replies to emails!
The house was so comfortable and inviting!
We are hoping to return in the future!!"

"We stayed at the cottage for a week for our honeymoon -- it was wonderful! It's the perfect cozy size for two people, beautifully decorated in an eclectic style, and has all the amenities - a kitchen, beach chairs, washer/dryer, and great air conditioning for a respite from the heat. As others have mentioned, we especially enjoyed the lovely sunroom with huge windows looking out on trees -- you feel like you're in a garden or forest, even though it's just 2 blocks from the beach! It's a great location just a couple blocks from beach, shops, and restaurants, so great value. Off-street parking space included so no need to compete with beach-goers for parking. There was some acoustic guitar music from nearby that we found pleasant, but other than that it was very quiet. The owner was responsive to questions in advance of our stay, and we didn't have any need to contact him during our visit since everything went smoothly. We would highly recommend this spot and hope to go back!"

"My family (Mom, my husband and I, friend, child and dog) stayed at Folly Tude last week, and we all agree that this was our best Folly vacation ever! Loved the high benches on the front deck and the ocean view. We appreciated the ability to block off the front deck so that the dog could not get out without us (baby-gate in laundry room - thank you!). Very convenient beach access. Two refrigerators and a well-stocked kitchen made eating in (which we nearly always do) very easy, and the charcoal grill on the deck was nice. Two of the bedrooms had TVs, plus one in the sunroom and a very large one in the living room, so it wasn't hard to spread out if there were different interests on TV. The TV in the living room was compatible with the kiddo's X-Box. The beds were extremely comfortable! We also really appreciated the bikes in the basement (there were at least 8!) and several beach chairs. 7 blocks from Center Street made it a pretty easy ride into town. The property managers were so helpful and kind! One day the realtor needed to show the house (which is for sale) so the manager called ahead of time to let us know what time it would be, told us we did not need to clean up or anything, and that it was OK if we were present (or not) --- and to make up for any inconvenience, gave us a very nice gift card to use at Rita's or the Lost Dog! We chose Rita's, and it was delicious (grouper sandwich, crabcake sandwich - yum! Kiddo was thrilled with his free frisbee-plate.) Then we ate at the Lost Dog for breakfast when we checked out, and it was amazing! Thank you so much for this experience - Can't wait to get back next year!"
