  • Wonderful stay at Seascape on Kiawah!

"My family of four stayed at this Seascape villa and could not have been more pleased! The villa itself is perfectly sized and very comfortable. Our favorite feature was the screened-in porch where we relaxed, ate every meal and even saw deer in the woods out back! The villa was appropriately stocked with linens, paper products/dishes in the kitchen and even came with a hair dryer and full-size washer/dryer! But the best part by far is the ideal location. The villa backs to one of the island's many bike trails, which we used to bike around the property and nearby Cougar Point golf course. For families with kids it could not be better, as you're walking distance from a great pool with slides (and a quick drive to the Night Heron pool and nature center.) You're also an east walk or bike ride from the Straw Market with gift shops and an ice cream store. Of course, the best part was the proximity to the gorgeous beach! The boardwalk is beautifully maintained and offered daily views of deer and heron. We swam, played and biked on the beach every day; it was perfect! We'd be very happy returning to this property and Kiawah; it was everything we hoped it would be!"

  • Edisto Intact

"I would like to preface this review by stating that my family grew up making annual trips from Northern Ohio to Edisto Island, SC. We have stayed at the State Park, Beachfront Housing and everything in between. Took a six year hiatus and after deciding to return hesitantly settled on Pyramid Pointe as our home base. While some of the changes to the island were disturbing/disappointing - Golf Carts EVERYWHERE, no Bell Buoy Seafood, Piggly Wiggly now called Bi-Lo! - Pyramid Pointe brought us back to the Edisto we knew and loved. As the owner states, be it in a more kind southern way, this is NOT a house for Yuppies (never fear Yuppies... a portion of Edisto Island now seems ready for you). Our Edisto reunion include a new generation (two children under two) and the Pyramid Pointe location provided endless entertainment for all ages. Rent the boats (all of them), bring your bikes (a very nice ride through a soon to be developed area ending where Scott Creek hits the ocean) and leave your golf cart at home! For anyone asking "Where's the Beach?"... it is about a quarter mile in front of Pyramid Pointe!"

  • Excellent Summer Vacation

"My wife and I (and our 4 kids) just stayed here last week and had an amazing experience. The house is incredible. Although it is on an island, it has all the amenities that you would get any where else. The views are incredible. Having access to the boat added so much to our stay. To be able to visit the marina for things and to go to shore to do some exploring was so valuable. Just walking out to the dock to get on the boat is an experience like none other. The views, the wildlife, the sunsets, the dolphins....words can't describe it. On a side note, Joe is an amazing guy. We actually had a small battery issue with the boat (no doubt, something our kids left on) and within 30 minutes, he was there with another boat. He is genuinely one of the nicest guys we have ever met and he made sure that our stay was perfect. We will be back. Thanks Joe!"

  • Great classic beach house!

"This house was great! We had kids, teenagers and adults ranging from 4 to 85 and every last one of us loved it! I'm really gonna miss our morning ritual of gathering on the deck with our coffee, watching the sun come up and watching/listening to the ocean. As they stated, we had plenty of boogie boards, beach toys and beach chairs, no need to bring any. Also, lots of chairs for sitting on the deck. We have been coming to Charleston since I was a baby and love that our kids are able to experience what we grew up doing..we love Folly Beach and we'll see ya next year! We will rent again!"
