  • wonderful property

"The pictures and description do not do this property justice. Our family gathered to celebrate our daughters graduation from Med School . We had family of all ages from 9mo.- seniors. Everyone had plenty of space and activities. They have thought of everything swimming pool, ping-pong ,every amenity you could want. Close to the beach and a nice stroll to one of the best Italian Restaurants this side of Italy. Everything was in tip-top shape and the property management was very easy to deal with"

  • Love this place!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great home-base for an oceanfront vacation. House is very clean and comfortable. Ample parking space and easy turnaround under and in front of house. Wonderful views of ocean from entire back of house. Great layout for time together and also privacy. High end appliances in kitchen with adequate cooking wares and serving pieces. Pleasant seating for 8 in kitchen. Comfortable large seating in family room. All 4 bedrooms roomy and comfortable. Good quality mattresses. Easy access to ocean. In-town amenities easily accessed...restaurants and vacation equipment rentals. Nice grocey store within 5 minute drive. Minor suggestions for improvements: Boardwalk shrubbery needs trimming. Some touch up painting needed inside. Kitchen needs a rubber spatula or two. Jack and Jill bathroom needs a new showerhead. Bunk beds only support 150 lbs.? And are wiggly. Should really support full adult weight if house is advertised to sleep 10. More detailed instructions on how to operate TV/cable and what channels are provided would be helpful."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This must have been the first time this property had been rented in 2015. Dust was everywhere...surely could have been cleaner for the price"

"This house lived up to almost all our expectations, and exceeded many of them. The housekeeping was perfect - we had no issues at all with the condition of the house when we arrived. The elevator, pool, hot tub, TV's, etc. all worked fine. The view from the roof/deck is wonderful, much better than we expected for a house a block off the beach. The beach on Isle of Palms is beautiful, great for sunning, walking, swimming, wading, shell hunting, fishing, all the normal things you do at the beach. There was plenty of off-street parking for six cars. Every bedroom has access to an outside deck, plus there was a deck off the main den on the third level which was a great get-together point every day. The roof deck is awesome: you see plenty of ocean, and the view of the beach is actually enhanced, made more picturesque, by the beautiful beach houses between you and the beach. I love photography, and some of my favorite photos from this trip are of ships in the distance with the beach and beach houses in the foreground. We enjoyed Charleston: the restaurants, the carriage ride through town, the market, the Confederate Museum etc. We had a good time twice at restaurants on the inlet on Shem Creek, which is in Mt. Pleasant on the way in to Charleston. On some days smaller groups with different interests and visited the market, Patriots Point, the plantations, Fort Moultrie, the Confederate Museum, Fort Sumter, the houses open to the public, the Battery, or just walked south of Broad Street to see the mansions. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all fine, although the bunk room was suitable for kids or young adults and a little less than perfect for seniors (which you might expect) and our group was all seniors. We ate most of our meals out, but we had one big breakfast together, and the dining room table was close but comfortable for all twelve of us. The pool table was not in great shape, so we decided to spend our time on things we can't do at home. There was a little confusion when I checked us in at the real estate office: the package including the keys was filed under the name of the owners, not my name, but luckily one of the ladies in the office figured it out. Add it all together and we had a wonderful time and would recommend this house highly, as well as Isle of Palms, Mt. Pleasant, and Charleston."
