  • Great rental home!

"Exceptional rental home! Clean and neat. Master bedroom is huge and roomy with plenty of room for all your belongings. Beds are very comfortable. Loved the walk-in shower. Owners have thought of everything all the way down to the clock that shows high and low tide! Our favorite place to walk was the Breach Inlet which was just a block or so away. We were so happy that the house had a fenced back yard for our 2 dogs. My husband was ecstatic about the large flat screen TV and my mom enjoyed the full shelf of books that are provided! Best vacation we have had and we didn't want to go home!"

  • HAPPY NEW YEAR!

"What a perfect week we spent at "I Hope You Dance." We have stayed at many homes in Charleston/Isle of Palms/Sullivans Island and Wild Dunes. This house is one of the best! It is beautifully furnished and extremely well-equipped. The weather was variable, but we enjoyed every minute! Our grandson loved the tower room and one of my sons did the "Polar Bear Plunge" in the salt pool. The short walk to the beach and the outside showers are a real treat. All of the beach chairs, bikes, and sand toys were also wonderful. It was an absolutely fabulous week and the perfect way to ring is a New Year! Thank you!"

  • We will be back again!

"We arrived to find it was just like "coming home". It has a nice cozy feel to it while being spacious at the same time. Tastefully decorated without being overdone. The owners were easy to get in touch with and quick to respond to our needs. The property is a short walk to the beach, restaurants and very close to the connector for driving purposes. In other words, it seems to be the perfect rental home! My kids would perhaps recommend adding a game system like XBOX or the like for those rainy days when the beach is out of the question....or something for teenagers to do. All in all, it was clean, comfortable and we will be booking for this summer as well! Thank you!"

  • 12 BR/12 BA, ocean front mansion

"This house is great and the owner was extremely responsive to the only 2 issues we had, a short in a ceiling fan and an infestation of ants at the pool. We had a family reunion with 24 people, including 5 under 4 years old and 2 teenagers. We were worried that we would be tripping all over each other but this house is large, spacious and well-designed. On the main floor, there are 3 separate sitting areas inside, not counting the kitchen (where people usually hang out), plus a large deck with enough seating for at least 20. In fact, the 1st floor deck was the main attraction. You can see the pool and the beach and almost always had a nice breeze blowing to keep things cool. There is also a nice deck on the 2nd and 3rd floors and a TV/sitting area on the 3rd floor. We never felt crowded, and although the children were loud, there was always a quiet place somewhere to get away from them. Each of the 12 bedrooms has its own private full bath (some are kind of small, some are incredibly large), plus there is a powder room on the 1st and 3rd floors. There are 4 master bedrooms that face the ocean that are more like suites than bedrooms with incredible views. The kitchen has plenty of room for several people to work at the same time, and the dinner table easily seats 14 people and has an awesome view of the beach. The children ate at the kitchen counter so they felt part of the dinner as well. There are 3 refrigerators, 2 in the kitchen and one in the carport under the house. They are not huge and with food for 24 they filled very quickly, which sometimes made it difficult to find stuff, but that is a minor complaint. The ice maker did a great job, we never ran out of ice, and the dishes, glasses, and cooking necessities were plentiful. The house has plenty of beach toys, umbrellas and beach chairs which we didn't know about, so we brought a lot of stuff we didn't need. I have suggested the owner be more explicit in what is available. This is the 6th time we have done a large reunion. Usually we have to have 2 houses. It was great having everyone under one roof, and it was by far the nicest house we have rented. Although it is a little costly, it is absolutely worth the extra money, and I highly recommend it."
