  • Couldn't Have Been Better

"We chose this loveliest of homes for an all girl celebration of 4 September birthdays. I arrived a day early to get "all set up" for the rest, but there was absolutely NOTHING to do but unpack my suitcase & wait for the others to arrive. Linda (owner) even had a birthday gift for my mom's 87th birthday on the counter! She was so surprised & overwhelmed. But we found this to be the kind of thoughtful planning & efforts that the owners have made to provide everything you could possibly need in the house. The furnishings are just exquisite & the house was even decorated for fall, down to the pillows on the couches! It was a treat just to walk through the house and look at each room with its own personality! Having all the towels, including dark, makeup washcloths, & beach & pool towels was a real plus, not to mention the beach chairs & buggies. The bed linens were of the finest quality & if you don't get a good night's sleep on those beds, then you must need medication anyway! We all loved the fact that every cabinet & drawer & lightswitch was labeled. That made it so easy to put things back where they belonged. And having directions for the TV's, elevator, keys, etc. was very helpful. The screened porch is perfect for coffee & early morning conversations & the pool area was perfect for the day when the sun was in & out of the clouds. Just a 5 minute walk to the beach, but the beach buggies make it pretty effortless. We went into Charleston & did a carriage ride for a 1.5hr tour. Our guide was fabulous & we learned alot. While there are wonderful restaurants in Charleston, we choose to stay on the island simply because we didn't want to have to drive that far. Our favorite for breakfast is the Sea Biscuit--1 mile from the house, and favorite for dinner was Acme Low Country--right beside Sea Biscuit. We also had a good meal at Long Island Cafe right beside Harris Teeter. We cooked one night in the well-appointed kitchen. Only thing missing was the chef himself! But Linda would probably arrange that, too, if you wanted one!! I would highly recommend this house for any kind of celebration, vacation or gathering. You won't be disappointed & we will definitely be back if we get the opportunity."

  • Paradise Retreat

"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Planning on our son’s wedding, we decided to rent a house that could accommodate both sides of our families. East Island Rentals was very helpful on the rules and regulations. This house was perfect. It was large enough that there was no one in any ones way. Some walked the beach. Some surf fished. Some sat on the veranda and read and watched the ocean and ships. A very relaxing time. The house was supplied with everything you could think of needing except for some necessities and food. The pantry had some food in it that could be used. We hope to have another wedding next year and we look forward staying there again. All of us that stayed there were very impressed. But if all the bedrooms are in use and you have extra people staying on couches or pull outs, be prepared…..they must walk through someone’s bedroom to use the facilities. Manager responded on 9/18/2014: Hi Barbara, We're glad you enjoyed your stay at 3000 Palm Blvd to celebrate this special occasion with your family. We'd love to have you back next year! • Exclusive Experience

"Suffice it to say, Exclusive Properties provide our family with an Exclusive Experience - Thank You EP! Magan was a saint, dealing with our large and unorganized family! We couldn't have done it without her. And the remainder of the EP staff followed Megan's kind and helpful manner in suit. Really, a first class operation. The proximity of this house to the 'downtown' of IoP really added benefit to this experience (3-5 min walk). We had a few other couples & families who were not able to spend the full time we did on IoP, so they were able to stay at the hotels and stroll over to the house for meals, partying and generally hanging out - no need for cars, parking or coordination - more or less, this proximity to the additional accommodations acted to 'add rooms' to this house. Further, the teens were able to have a night life which also avoided cars and coordination - effortless and appeasing for all. A short walk the other direction (2-3 mins) brought us to a beach access. The lack of public parking for this access made it approximate a private access. Looking back towards the 'downtown,' one could see the crowds at the 'public' beach, could quickly walk there is one wanted to be more social, though at the same time we were to be comfortably free of the crowds and enjoy a peaceful beach. The house itself was grand. Tall ceilings, ample bathrooms, quality fixtures,.... The kitchen was set up for a crowd with two of near everything, including large tables, dishwashers and coffee pots! The oversized stove and ovens also participated in making the feeding of a large southern family convenient and practical. Having the bunk room for the kids and another for the teens kept things peaceful. And having a floor plan with multiple master suites made the multi-household sharing of this palace fair and comfortable for all. The elevator also deserves a mention - without it, i dont think we could have had all four generations of the family relaxing as we did - priceless. And logistically, all of the under-house parking left our driveways free and clear for Picasso-quality chalk art, plus ample room to enjoy the ping-pong table. The fenced-in backyard with great pool (deep end in the middle with shallow ends), large pool apron, grass lawn and beautiful landscaping wound up being the backdrop of over 1,000 pictures between the families! Thank You Exclusive Properties for facilitating great memories - see you next year!!"

  • Third time visitor

"This was our third visit to this beautiful house! Great for multiple families! We love the shady, quiet location just one block from the beach and within walking/biking distance of the local park and grocery store. The house is just as beautiful in person as the photos on the website. We have 4 families that stay together and the house is roomy and comfortable with LOTS of sleeping space. Two couples take the two upstairs bedrooms (these bedrooms have extra beds in them which could be helpful for families with young children), our girls occupy the upstairs "bunk bed room" which is small but private and very sweet! The teenage boys sleep in the bunkbeds in the upstairs tv room. There is not as much privacy in this room, but our boys LOVE it because the beds are super comfortable and the room has a large sectional sofa and a Very large screen tv! Another couple sleeps in the master bedroom downstairs, and my mom sleeps in the quaint bedroom (with the two twin beds) near the kitchen. This bedroom could also be convenient for a nanny or babysitter. Having the laundry chute from the upstairs bathroom to the master bathroom laundry room is convenient. Since access to laundry is through the master bedroom, we make sure whoever sleeps in the master suite is not a big "napper" so that others in the house have access to the laundry room throughout the day. Having two family rooms/dens is very convenient, as the teenagers can hook up their gaming system to the upstairs television while others may watch a movie or sports on the downstairs television. But even with two televisions going, there are still places in the house to sit and read and relax and two big tables for playing cards or board games. I particularly enjoy reading on the loveseat (off of the kitchen dining area) and in the rocking chairs on the back screen porch. We had gracious room for eating all together at the large dining table but also enjoy the spacious eating area in the kitchen as well. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, flatware, and cookware and has just about anything you need for meal prep. The house internet works great. We brought a laptop with us and left it at the kitchen desk (in the common area) for all in the house to use during the week. There are plenty of places to ride bikes and run within the neighborhood and around the island. There are also tennis courts and basketball courts at the public park just a couple of blocks away, which we enjoy. Super place ~we will be back!"
