"Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Initially a bit concerned, when we arrived water dripping down into carport. Let management know and Mary came out and cleaned out and turned off an ice maker that they knew had been causing problems. Then we got a couple of other visits to determine parts or replacement by the owner. The other issue was little availability of cleaning supplies and toilet paper. The management responded to our calls, but wanting to enjoy a relaxing vacation at beach a little attention to detail or a good checklist would have solved. The home itself is beautiful, obviously as a beach home it is not spotless and there is definite weathering. The location on the beach is great, far away from condos with the dueling music and crowds. Very gradual beach with waves but not huge breakers. Lots of kite boarders during the afternoon were fun to watch, they were courteous to others in the water. Lots of water toys and beach chairs for use and the pool table and ping pong table saw a lot of use. Overall a very nice home to enjoy a relaxing time at a beautiful beach."

"The location and layout of this house is great. Typical rental, some furniture, lamps, appliances weren't in the best condition. We had two families, 4 adults and 5 kids aged 9-15 and the house was perfect for us. We loved the view of the ocean, the pool was private and the kids could roam the shops etc on their own."

"This was our first time staying there. I was last there about 1970 when stationed at the old Navy Base. Used to divide my time between IOP and Folley. Wandered, this time to to Folley, drove thru, and decided just too college kiddy, went back to IOP and stayed there. There are great resturants on IOP, Sullivan's Is. and Mt. Pleasant, all without getting on a limited access highway. Downtown Chas. was beautiful as ever, along the nearby Battery. If I were to recommend a side trip it would be Patriot's Point, and I thought Magnolia Plantation was a waste of time and money. Seemed unkept. The beach was wonderful, even on the overcast or slightly damp days. Those made it easier to not become too sunburned! There are several of Guy's Diners, Drive-ins and Dives resturants in the area, Each with it's own flair. The condo was very nice in a comfortable way. Beach chairs were provided as were an overstock of in house towels. Of course you should bring your own beach towels. The condo assoc, has a great pool for just relaxing. Parking was safe, secure, with easy condo access, and could be seen easily from the condo. The sleeping arrangements are for a total of five, with a double bed, in a private room, a single bunk in the hallway, and a pull out couch in the living room. The kitchen provided everything we could wish for, including very ample counters. There is a new Harris Teeter grocery store almost within walking distance, with a good Pizza Hut next door. For those traveling a distance gasoline prices were right above $3.00 a gallon with West Virginia being the worst at 3.49/3.69! The condo waa amazingly quiet and from the patio, living room and kitchen had a geat beach view, it certaily was good to hear the surf We certainly are thinking of going back and again planning on staying in this condo ,if it is available. My only wish is that the toilet seat were higher. I'm tall and with new knees I could have used a toilet riser. I'll pack one the next trip. Thank you, Bonnie, Dave and Kathy"
