  • Perfect beach house

"Our family has rented a house on the Isle of Palms for the past 15 years and we have stayed here for the past 2. Previously we had rented 5 other houses in Sea Oats. The is the best place to stay on the Isle of Palms because the beach is a 2 minute walk, there is no busy road to cross, it is right across from Wild Dunes (great for bike riding), there is a community pool and it is 2 minutes from the Marina (we bring a boat). This is the best house we have stayed in because it is very clean, it has a screened in porch, everything works, it has a great outdoor shower and it has an awesome 3 bunk bed room which all the kids stay in. They love it!"

  • Perfect House

"This was our 5th year in the house for our 28th annual golf trip...had 10 guys this time. As always, we had a great time on the different decks, grilling and ocean views from the top of the house. House is in good condition and within 2 blocks is Acme Cantina which serves great food. New Harris Teeter is great along with Island liquors...they did a nice job with re doing the local shopping center. Great place to stay!"

  • Perfect Vacation Choice

"The home was very clean, beautifully decorated and simply a perfect "Island Retreat". We literally needed to bring nothing as the home had it all. We have two young children so for the beach there were bikes to ride, beach buckets, scoops etc., and several boogie boards for the surf. The bikes were nice as we had one for all ages from training wheels (we needed) to mountain bikes for the adults. The beach was easily accessible as the access was only a short two blocks away (walk or bikes). The beach was clean and low traffic so with the kids it was easy to let them play vs staying on top of them making sure they are safe. If you have been to other beaches you will know what I mean. The kitchen was fully stocked from a gas range to outdoor gas grill. We found this great as we ate out a few times but really cooking there was a great to enjoy the family. We also found a hidden treasure the Isle of Palms community center also only two blocks away (rode bikes to this). It always seems on any vacation we find our way to the park. This park had it all swings, slides, climbing ropes, spinning wheels (not sure what called but girls loved it), basketball courts, tennis courts, soccer field, and an indoor basketball court along with exercise equipment all free. The island itself was clean, safe and full of beauty. We also visited Fort Sumter and The Market Downtown. We took the fairy to the Fort and drove downtown. I would highly recommend both of those as well. In all our family had a great relaxing time and we cannot wait to get back. Ross Family"

The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Too many ants, particularly in the pool. Water at times black!"
