  • Staying at the condo!

"We really enjoyed staying at the condo - it was clean and so close to the beach. However, it should have been brought up at there is construction going on close by - as well as window washing and spraying EVERY DAY except Sunday - Thank goodness! The beeping beeping of the equipment woke us up at 8 each and every day and lasted all day long - I would have been nice to have had advance warning of this."

  • Relaxing Vacation for Anniversary!

"My husband and I were looking to get away for a relaxing vacation for a few days, and we certainly found it here in this condo on the Isle of Palms. Everything in the condo was perfect and well maintained. We had everything we could possibly want! We loved the area; Isle of Palms, Mount Pleasant, Charleston, Sullivan's Island. Lots of good restaurants in the area, the one that we liked the best on the Isle of Palms was Acme Low Country Kitchen (as suggested by owner of the condo). The owner of this condo was always very prompt in responding to my emails about the property and the area, and we would definitely want to come back to this condo again. We came home happy, relaxed and satisfied!"

  • "Beach music"

"We have stayed @Pelican Bay. For 5 yrs. now. 4 of those yrs. in this particular house. We now call it "our house" we love it & wouldn't stay anywhere else. The people @ Dunes Properties are exceptional. They treated us very well and we had a great week!"

  • Great for 2 People

"I would recommend this property to a party of 2 max only. The condo is nicely furnished and decorated but the pullout sofas are extremely uncomfortable. We had to go buy a foam pad from Target to make the sofa usable as a bed. The management company is very responsive and checked in with us a couple of times. Also, the beach was very crowded at the unit. Lots of families with young children. We ended up going over to Sullivan's Island a couple of days for a quieter beach."

Wild Dunes Travel Tips

Wild Dunes Lodging Complete with Gazebo

Picture a short wooden pathway that branches off to a pool and gazebo before continuing on down to a private beach and you will be pretty close to imagining what Wild Dunes lodging can offer you. You are not only right on the Atlantic Ocean with Wild Dunes condos, you are also 20 minutes from downtown Charleston, South Carolina with all of its wonderful attractions. It is possible to spend the day at Charleston rentals filling your time with relaxing activities or walking along city streets window shopping.

Wild Dunes Condos near the Aquarium Wharf

Charleston is a fabulous city with historic tours of 18th and 19th century homes. The architecture will amaze you because of the detail and hard work put into each of these historic homes. The entire day can be spent away from Wild Dunes condos as you tour the Aquarium Wharf or old southern plantations nearby. Aquarium Wharf provides you a glance at the world's oceans and waterway systems, educating you on the various marine life species you might encounter on a scuba diving or snorkeling trip. In fact, you might be so excited after visiting the aquarium that you decide to rent snorkeling equipment to use during your stay at Charleston rentals.

Charleston Rentals and the Perfect Fish Dinner

Fishing is possible at Charleston rentals and you can either rent a boat or fish right off the town pier. Wild Dunes lodging options can help you if you decide to rent a boat, providing suggestions for the best tour operator. Locals enjoy deep sea fishing off the shores where they can catch shark, tuna, and other large fish for dinner. You can also join in this fun and bring fresh fish back to Wild Dunes condos. The accommodations provide barbecue grills for the perfect grilled fish meal.

Wild Dunes Lodging in the Gate Community

Wild Dunes is a private gated community complete with a golf course. Every morning you can wake up at Wild Dunes lodging for a day of 18 holes. Challenges vary from water obstacles and bunkers to sloping fairways and trees. For families with children, the pool and mini golf courses are perfect.
