  • Mother Daughter get away!

"Two Moms and 2 best friends thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Wild Dunes Lagoon Villas. This condo was very clean and comfortable. It is in a great location on the island. Walking distance to the boardwalk area and the ocean. Good location for a day trip into Charleston as well. The owner gave us complete instructions and was quick to respond by email. Would love to go back and stay at this condo someday!"

  • Excellent Condo - Great Location

"Excellent accommodations. The condo was roomy, clean and located within an extremely safe gated community. The owner (Steve) was exceptional to work with and our trip was problem free. The condo is complete with anything you could possibly need. Located within a 5 min walk to the beach. Quiet location with tons of things to do (beach, bike rentals, restaurants and tennis). An easy drive into downtown Charleston. Highly recommended."

  • Lagoon Villa 8 Great Location

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in several different condos in Wild dunes. This was our first time staying in a complex not on the ocean side. The walk to the beach was really quick, beach access was pretty much directly across the street. I actually enjoyed the walk in the breezy beautiful weather, in the heat of the summer I would probably feel differently because we tend to take A LOT of stuff to the beach. The furniture was newer, the laminate floors looked very new and clean. The whole condo was very clean. The washer and dryer were older but worked great. The bedrooms were located on opposite sides of the living room and I was surprised how the noise did not carry and my 4 kids shared the one bedroom. It was quieter than my own home-lol. The kitchen was stocked nicely except for glasses. We needed some smaller and maybe plastic cups for my kids, I just bought some solo cups, problem solved. One thing that was stressful was the lack of towels. There were only enough towels for 3 people. If the condo sleeps 6 there should be 6 towel sets. We had a minor problem with internet service and it was handled quickly by the realty company. I should mention that someone did need to be in the condo for the cable provider to enter, it was inconvenient at the time, and I wish someone from the realty company would have been present. The modem was hooked up to an outlet that gets turned off whenever the switch is flipped. Figured this out after 30 minutes of trying to figure out why the internet was down again. And then the A/C went out in the master bedroom , on our last day. The pool is probably the nicest one out of the 4 complexes we have stayed at in wild dunes. Having to have a key to enter is annoying. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable with 2 adults and 4 children. The location was great and I would definitely stay here again."

  • Christmas and Birthday, 2014

"My wife, son and I rented this condo to spend Christmas and my birthday, which was the day after. It was a great vacation. The house is very nice with all of the needs for living for a few days. We turned it into our home for those four days, including setting up a small Christmas tree. Not only is the place nice and very clean, but it is in a very quiet place with the lagoon and lots of trees, but if you prefer, it is a short drive to the hustle and bustle of Charleston. Lots of great restaurants nearby and we recommend The Sea Biscuit for breakfast. Also has great community amenities, especially the beach house, complete with rocking chairs for watching the waves. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, and highly recommend it!!"
