  • Absolutely gorgeous home in Wild Dunes!

"For many years we have vacationed in Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island, Charleston, and Wild Dunes. We always rent a home and this home was by far the best that we have ever rented in Wild Dunes. The house is even more beautiful than the photos. It was extremely clean, beautifully furnished, and well-maintained. We rented this home for our son's graduation from CofC. Our entire family spent four days in this gorgeous home and everyone wished that they could have stayed longer. The house was equipped for absolutely everything that we needed for large meals, fun, and relaxing. It was also a pleasure working with the owner. She was extremely accommodating and helpful and the whole rental process went very smoothly. I would highly recommend 13 Abalone Alley and we will certainly rent this home again for our family."

  • Beautiful home

"The house was beautiful and had a great layout. Two bedrooms were on the lower level that were perfect for kids. The property manager was very helpful and quick to return all emails. Will definitely stay again at next visit!"

  • Great Beach House

"Beautiful open and sunny house. Not too large of a house that the children got lost, but big enough that everyone in our party, 5 adults, 3 children and a baby, had enough space. The open kitchen/dining room/living room, with it's large windows and two story height really made the space. The kitchen was perfect for someone whose hobby is cooking. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. There were some extra linens and the pull out couch was good for my college age niece. The porch looked out at a beautiful marsh but it wasn't covered and we couldn't use it in the evening when the sun blazed on it without any relief. The neighborhood is quiet and beautifully landscaped. Every house was amazing. The only negative is that it is a fifteen minute walk to the actual beach. A beautiful walk, but with small children and their gear we had to shuttle everyone to the boardwalk in a car. We didn't have a wagon so we then had to push two strollers, carry all our toys/towels/food and encourage hot and whiney kids to keep walking. Consequently, there were no impromptu walks on the beach. Also, the house is about twenty five minutes from a grocery store so we had to learn to plan multiple meals ahead. Both issues can be solved with planning and the kids aging a bit. The beach area was very clean with a wide sand beach. The closest water is actually an inlet so the water was very calm, no waves at all. Perfect for small kids who can't swim. The sand was soft with shells but the shells weren't really collector worthy. This house also comes with a pass to the club house pool. The pool area was very nice and there is a parking lot for the car. However, being renters, we were allowed in only after 6pm. We were sad to leave and are definitely planning a return visit."

  • Recommend!!

"Found this house when looking for a holiday getaway in a warm area. My family was so comfortable in this beautiful house, and it was a great place to make memories and take photos. We enjoyed sightseeing in Charleston and the historical sites nearby (Patriots Point, Fort Sumter, Boone Hall, etc.) What a beautiful area!"

Private Homes Travel Tips

Wild Dunes Beach Homes Offer a Plethora of Delights

For a quiet and peaceful vacation, Wild Dunes beach homes are your ticket from cold weather and rainy days. South Carolina is a top destination for northeasterners looking to get away from the harsh winters for something with a little fun. Isle of Palms Resort is a private gated community where you can relax and enjoy the golf courses, tennis courts, and beach. You are also about 20 minutes from downtown Charleston, a city filled with numerous delights.

Isle of Palms Resort and Links Course

At Isle of Palms Resort, you may decide to spend your entire vacation playing on the Links and Harbor Golf Courses. Both courses at Charleston rentals offer many challenges like bunkers, streams, and curving fairways. A family of four could take a break from golfing and spend it on the tennis courts. Wild Dunes beach homes may even supply you with the rackets to wage war against each other on the courts. If that doesn't sound like fun, you still have the beach a few steps away.

Charleston Rentals Provide the Perfect Spot for Building

The beach at Charleston rentals is pristine so that you and your entire family can relax and enjoy the sand under your toes. Sandcastles, swimming contests, or soaking up the sun's rays are all part of your adventure at Isle of Palms Resort. If you prefer pool water to saltwater, you also have that option along with the warm water of a Whirlpool tub.

Wild Dunes Beach Homes for a Weekend Getaway

If you are looking for a romantic getaway, look no further than Wild Dunes beach homes. With fully equipped kitchens, private balconies and decks, Charleston rentals ensure you have the privacy you want for a weekend away from kids and co-workers. You can even take a romantic stroll along The Battery in downtown Charleston if you wish.
