Great Condo/ Excellent Location/ Perfect for our Family
"Listing description was accurate - there was even more things there than listed. Place was clean and everything was in perfect working condition. Diane answered my questions via email super fast and gave great suggestions for restaurants and rainy day activities!
The location was superb! Top floor (no noisy feet above you), corner (more views of the ocean) was key for us. The locked storage room downstairs was an awesome bonus for us as we have 3 kids and it was nice to drop off all our stuff (sand toys, life jackets, pool toys, chairs, umbrellas...) there at the end of the day and not have to drag anything up to the condo. Having a keypad to get into the condo was great too...no keys to misplace, and even our 5 year old could remember the code and unlock the door. Our 11 year old and his grandmother volunteered to set up our chairs out at the beach every morning. They were usually out there around 7 am and always got a good spot.
The kids took advantage of the family games, puzzles and stereo that were there.
Kitchen was well stocked - however we were glad we packed a few plastic cups for our kids (the condo only has glasses and the main dining table is glass as well) and a large griddle to make plenty of pancakes at once. There were plenty of pans, mixing bows, pitchers...you name it! Large pantry for all our food.
We had a blast at the beach. We saw 2 dolphins and a small (3 foot) shark almost daily. TONS of sand dollars. We even swam out to the sand bar 3 days and found starfish, a few jelly fish, a small stingray, and a horseshoe crab. The kids (and grown ups) loved it!! The kids each came home with a gallon size ziplock of shells - some to put in their rooms and some to add to the collection in their sandbox. :)
We spent 1 day inland. Had a fun time seeing alligators at Cypress Gardens, then we really enjoyed the ships at Patriots Point. Grabbed pizzas at Papa Johns on our way back to the condo. One night, we went out for some great seafood at Sullivan's.
Weekly rate was affordable..$2375 ($2756 with cleaning fees and taxes). Hoping the rates don't go up too much for next year...we just may return! :)"

"This was a our first time to the Isle of Palms-Charleston area. With out question this was our very best vacation ever. The accommodations were top notch!! The beds were amazing....we loved the kitchen which was brand new. The living room was awesome and the showers just the same. I can't complain about anything at this condo. The pictures shown don't do it justice! The pool was AWESOME (Oh yeah and the beach...ahhhhh)!!! If you are looking for a relaxing time with amazing amenities...this is the place for you. We will definitely be staying here again!!! It is so close to so many things!! Thank you so much for everything!!"

"I'm working in Charleston for most of the winter and staying in a motel. I was told about 303 Summer House by some friends who had nothing but good to say about the Condo.
While the weather the first two days was not cooperative, the Condo did not disappoint! Clean and bright with comfortable chairs and sofas. Got some of the best sleep I've had in a long time on the King bed in the second bedroom.
Views of the ocean were abundant with a spectecular sunrise on my last day there and the night sky was lit up with stars during the new moon.
I can't wait for more favorable weather to rent here again."

"This condo was the perfect size for our family of 5. We were right off the beach, just as we wanted. The condo was very clean when we arrived, although the bathrooms seem a bit dated, therefore don't feel quite as clean. The space worked wonderfully, and the washer and dryer were a huge plus! It really felt like home and offered everything we needed for our week stay - nice, bright and sunny! My only real issue was the front door situation. There is no deadbolt and the door nob only feels locked from the outside, meaning it can always be opened easily from the inside. With 3 small children, this was a major concern. We decided to park our double stroller with locked wheels in front of the door to keep the kids from getting out. We did have a couple of maintenance issues (light in kitchen went out, no broom) which were addressed in a timely manner. The people at Resort Quest were VERY friendly, and very easy to work with. We also chose to rent baby gear (stroller, pack n' play and high chair) from a company called Baby's Away. That was also a HUGE added bonus and worked out perfectly. I highly recommend renting from them, they deliver the items to the condo so they are there when you arrive, and they pick them up after you depart. Super easy! Another thing I loved about the condo was the fact that it was nice and quiet. The floors didn't creak so I wasn't worried we were bothering anyone below us, and we never heard any of our neighbors above us or through the walls. This really was such a great stay for our family! Thank you so much!"
