  • GREAT experience

"We had the best experience at this house and the owner was lovely to work with. The house was beautiful and so close to the beach and village. We loved the porch to be able to sit and read on it in the mornings. Couldn't have asked for more. We will DEFINITELY be back and highly recommend to others!"

  • Great location!

"My family had a great time and enjoyed our stay at Wild Dunes. The house was less than a five minute walk from the beach. The view of the lagoon was nice and we had fun watching the wildlife there - birds, jumping fish, turtles, and even an alligator. The deck was large and we loved sitting out there each morning and evening. The bedrooms were all good size rooms and there were lots of bath towels and extra sheets and blankets if needed. The kitchen was well stocked although we didn't really cook - too many amazing restaurants to eat at! It was definitely nice to have all the beach chairs and toys and especially the thing that you can use to wheel everything to the beach. We would definitely come back to this house in the future, especially since the owners will rent it for less than a week even in the summer."

  • Immaculately Clean & Family Oriented

"Just returned from a few short days at Wild Dunes. This condo was so clean and so well equipped. We could have stayed for months and not need a thing. From the 500 count sheets, to the great kitchen appliances, even a full sized washer-dryer, we did not want for any comforts of home. The resort is so nice and safe. We rode the owner's bikes all over the resort. Could walk to beach very easily and over the the Grand Pavillion where there are a couple of extra pools we could use. The owner obviously takes good care of the unit. Even had toiletries there for our use if needed and a few spices in kitchen cabinets.. We will come back again and spend more time in the future. With the Sportscard the owner has, we were able to play tennis and use the health club for the appropriate resort charges...We had not realized when we booked this how important it was to have the Sportscard as without it we could not have played tennis or used health club."

  • Large Awesome Condo!

"My family stayed in this unit the end of August and had a great time. The unit is not on the beach but with the use of the golf cart supplied it is an easy and quick ride to it (hint: the easiest and shortest walk to the beach is not always the best. Since you have a golf cart, go explore and you will find places to almost park the cart on the beach!). The condo is very open and large and has a great screened in porch. I was also a little worried about access to the pools but we never even used or missed them and it was almost right across the street. The unit is well stocked with ample towels and everything you might need in the kitchen. It is also nice that each bedroom has access to its on private bath as well! We never heard any neighbors either and they had two small kids next door during the same time we were staying. Contact with the owner before, during, and after the stay was excellent as well. He even worked with us when we changed some of the dates, addressed any questions we had during the stay, and returned the security deposit promptly. The only problem we ever had was that the WiFi was a little quirky sometimes but we were on vacation and it wasn't a real big deal anyway. The unit is in a great location and condition with in Wild Dunes making it easy to get in and out of. There is ample parking room as well. When we go back to Wild Dunes we WILL use this unit again! Thank you for a great time!"

Wild Dunes Travel Tips

Wild Dunes Lodging Complete with Gazebo

Picture a short wooden pathway that branches off to a pool and gazebo before continuing on down to a private beach and you will be pretty close to imagining what Wild Dunes lodging can offer you. You are not only right on the Atlantic Ocean with Wild Dunes condos, you are also 20 minutes from downtown Charleston, South Carolina with all of its wonderful attractions. It is possible to spend the day at Charleston rentals filling your time with relaxing activities or walking along city streets window shopping.

Wild Dunes Condos near the Aquarium Wharf

Charleston is a fabulous city with historic tours of 18th and 19th century homes. The architecture will amaze you because of the detail and hard work put into each of these historic homes. The entire day can be spent away from Wild Dunes condos as you tour the Aquarium Wharf or old southern plantations nearby. Aquarium Wharf provides you a glance at the world's oceans and waterway systems, educating you on the various marine life species you might encounter on a scuba diving or snorkeling trip. In fact, you might be so excited after visiting the aquarium that you decide to rent snorkeling equipment to use during your stay at Charleston rentals.

Charleston Rentals and the Perfect Fish Dinner

Fishing is possible at Charleston rentals and you can either rent a boat or fish right off the town pier. Wild Dunes lodging options can help you if you decide to rent a boat, providing suggestions for the best tour operator. Locals enjoy deep sea fishing off the shores where they can catch shark, tuna, and other large fish for dinner. You can also join in this fun and bring fresh fish back to Wild Dunes condos. The accommodations provide barbecue grills for the perfect grilled fish meal.

Wild Dunes Lodging in the Gate Community

Wild Dunes is a private gated community complete with a golf course. Every morning you can wake up at Wild Dunes lodging for a day of 18 holes. Challenges vary from water obstacles and bunkers to sloping fairways and trees. For families with children, the pool and mini golf courses are perfect.
