  • Great Spring Trip

"My siblings and I had a great stay at this home. The location was great and the accommodations worked well for our group. We spent most of our time away in Charleston but took advantage of the short walk to the beach each morning for a long beach walk. We hadn't paid close attention to the layout before getting there and the 3 bedrooms all on the lower level seemed odd at first but we quickly got used to it. The kitchen and living room are on the second level which was perfectly fine. The place was very clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay."

  • Great House

"We rented this house for a family reunion for 9 adults. The house was fantastic! Plenty of room, comfortable beds, and the kitchen was well supplied with everything we could possibly need. The only issue we had was the upstairs bedroom. We were there in the spring, it wasn't warm enough to turn on the air conditioning, and there was no ventilation in the upstairs 5th bedroom. It was uncomfortable for sleeping. Once it gets warmer and the air conditioner is running, it would probably be fine, but for us, it wasn't really usable space. Short walk to the beach. We rented bikes and were able to get all around the property. We LOVE staying in Wild Dunes and will definitely rent this house again for our next reunion!"

  • Great island getaway!!

"This is long overdue (apologies) but I can say we will definitely book this place again. It is very clean, well taken care of, nicely decorated and easy to live in during our stay. The bathrooms are updated with a large shower in the master. A full size washer and dryer was great to have. My favorite part...the lovely screened patio, which is perfect for lounging and reading a book in the afternoon. We loved the functional layout, cute clean furniture and bedding. We have little children so not having extra décor knick knacks everywhere is a major plus. The beach is a few hundred feet away across the courtyard beyond the pool. It is very quiet and has few people down at that end of the beach that time of year which was perfect for us. In the mornings we would walk out and watch the sunrise over the ocean...just beautiful. When we arrived, the land phones were not working, but the owner was easily accessible and very accommodating, handling the problem quickly. (The issue stemmed from another unit). I only bring this up to reassure future renters that if there is a problem, the owner and the onsite maintenance are very pleasant and easy to work with. The drive into town takes about 10 minutes so it's not super close, but just plan ahead for groceries...NOT a big deal at all. We have stayed in many other locations before, but this condo has been our best choice yet."
