  • Great place to stay

"We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to the Isle of Palms and nearby Charleston. The house was just what we wanted, we visited the pool nearby, walked along the beach and sat out on the porch watching the fish and Allie the Alligator who came out the water and chilled out under the tree. The only (very slight) niggles were, being foreigners we could have done with a bit of help on working the TVs and the furniture in the third bedroom was a bit "sticky" and we could only really use three of the drawers easily. The recycling bin was full to overflowing and collection dates weren't particularly well set out. However, these were very minor issues and didn't detract from our enjoyment. The Obstinate Daughter on Sullivan's Island was a great restaurant and the ice cream sold in the shop underneath was to die for. A very happy week."

  • Just what we needed

"This house worked well for our large family. We had a total of 10 people (7 adults, 3 kids) staying at the house, everyone had their own place to sleep. The pictures do not do this house justice, the rooms are bigger than they appear in the pictures. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax, the side wrap-around porch is perfect! The swimming pool was clean, well-kept (pool service guy came twice during our visit), and was definitely enjoyed by all! A short 2 block walk to the beach. Close proximity to all attactions in and around Charleston. The owners were very nice and polite, and were very helpful with suggestions and any questions we asked. I would definitely recommend this house to others. However, as with most beach houses, there are multiple stairs both inside the residence and out...be mindful of that when booking if traveling with disabled persons. However, with that being said, we were very pleased with the house and would definitely stay again should the opportunity arise. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home! We had a wonderful vacation!"

  • Tennis Girls Weekend

"My tennis team of 12 ladies rented this house for a long weekend in March. We were not disappointed at all. This was a fabulous house with 6 bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms which made it perfect for all of us ladies. There was plenty of kitchen and dining space for all of us to cook, talk, sit, laugh and enjoy each other's company as well as living space. We had a beautiful view of the ocean......we were very close to Charleston's tourist spots (Battery, Straw Market, Meeting Street) to drive to in a few minutes on the day it rained on us......we were just as close to the Tanger Outlets....we played lots of tennis for no additional cost.....overall it was a wonderful weekend! We will be back at this house again next year."

  • Met our needs, perfectly!

"This spacious beach house met our family's needs, perfectly! Though we're local, most of our guests came from out of town and visiting the beach is always a treat! The elevator and wide hallways are a necessity with older guests (to 90's!), giving them the independence they need. Open living/dining layout made mealtime/visiting fun and convenient! The kitchen is well equipped with necessary appliances and everything you'd need for meals. The large pantry worked well, as we brought in lots of food and supplies, simplifying our stay. The bedrooms and baths are amply-sized and the layout assured everyone of privacy. We experienced an unseasonal cold snap and weren't able to enjoy the porches as we'd hoped (that's OK, there's always next time!). The pictures represented the property accurately and we were very pleased to find everything in good, clean condition. The city is watchful with overnight parking and having the ability to park underneath was certainly a plus! We appreciate the owners providing plenty of ice when they realized the ice maker wasn't working. They were very attentive to our needs and we appreciate their personal interest!"
