  • Tennis Girls Weekend

"My tennis team of 12 ladies rented this house for a long weekend in March. We were not disappointed at all. This was a fabulous house with 6 bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms which made it perfect for all of us ladies. There was plenty of kitchen and dining space for all of us to cook, talk, sit, laugh and enjoy each other's company as well as living space. We had a beautiful view of the ocean......we were very close to Charleston's tourist spots (Battery, Straw Market, Meeting Street) to drive to in a few minutes on the day it rained on us......we were just as close to the Tanger Outlets....we played lots of tennis for no additional cost.....overall it was a wonderful weekend! We will be back at this house again next year."

  • Our favorite getaway spot!

"Our family has been staying in Thad's condos in both Wild Dunes & Wrightsville Beach for many years. We always know it will be clean and well maintained...and the beds are so comfy!!! You can't beat the convenience to the beach, pool, and walking the island. We love spending time on the screen porch and enjoy the light & privacy of the end unit too. It doesn't take long to feel right at home here! Thank you, Thad, for sharing your piece of paradise with us year after year!"

  • All Age Family Holiday - 1st visit for everyone to South Carolina

"We had an excellent Family holiday here - a first visit for the whole party of 3 generations from the UK to South Carolina. The property was wonderful - very comfortable with bathrooms for everyone. The main level was perfect for planning our days. Location to the beach - brilliant although we have never seen so many ants! Having a pool close by - a bonus - all with chairs from the house brilliant especially coming from overseas. So much to see and do around - Charlston was very easy to drive into and spend half a day and return to go to the beach or pool - ideal. we also visited Boone Hall which was very educational and good value for money - especially after a visit to Biltmore ! We also spent too long at the shopping outlet just before returning home. Being from the UK - we bought more knives for the drawer - we do eat with forks and knives! However we found the Pelican Bay perfect for our needs. It felt lovely and homely - the air- conditioning a bonus we did use as apparently it was unseasonably hot. The people in SC were so friendly - we went to church on Sunday and were given a phone number in case we needed anything! We did find the local supermarket - Harris Teeter - expensive after Ingles in NC, but in was nearby. Some of the resturants nearby were closed but did go to Boat house which was good, and Salt on Sullivans Island which was excellent. Kristen, also thank you for your help, advice and patience as we struggled with payment. A lovely place and area which we would all highly recommend. Charlston was fab - so much to see and so little time. Thank you."

  • Beautiful Property!

"We had a wonderful long weekend at this property with our three preteen/teenage children. It is neat, clean and has all the amenities. I really loved the fact that I could sit on the master bedroom balcony and watch (from a distance) two of my children building sand castles on the beach. I could also look down and see them in the pool. At low tide you can hop through the shallow waters to the sandbars and find crabs, starfish and other marine life. It is a great place to relax and enjoy your surroundings and not have to plan anything. A beautiful property and we hope to be able to come for many more weekends in the future!"
