Just what we hoped for
"I chose this home hoping to please 10 other ladies on our 9th annual Kiawah marathon girls trip. We required a luxurious home and a hot tub. We weren't disappointed it's a beautiful home, very big and expansive, with wide stairs, wide hallways, coffered , high ceilings, comfy furniture, lots of marble. The guest house was a nice touch to give privacy. The master bathroom was great , with the really nice shower.
Of course, the hot tub was the most important thing. It was great, and when we couldn't get the bubbles to work, the after hours number was answered promptly, and a repairman came out within about 30 minutes to make everything wonderful. I really appreciate that kind of service and will keep that in mind when I make reservations next year."

"Five members of our family stayed for five days this fall for a wedding in Kiawah. The house is spacious, comfortable, well-furnished and equipped, and the owners were very helpful and responsive to communications. We had two couples and two others each in single rooms, and the house was great for us. I'd definitely recommend it and would stay there again."

"We stayed at the Kiawah Cottage for 6 nights in August 2015 with a total of two families - 4 adults and 5 children. It was our first trip to Kiawah and the Island is spectacular. We actually stayed two nights at the Sanctuary hotel, and then 6 nights at the cottage. It was a lot of fun to experience both the high end resort hotel and all its amenities and then stay in a private home. Overall, we were very happy with the home. It fit both of our families very well, was clean, well equipped and centrally located for trips to the beach, Night Heron Park and all over the Island. We spent most of our days alternating between the beach (7 minute bike ride to the beach path) and the Night Heron Splash Park (since we stayed at the Sanctuary Hotel the staff at the pool gave us access all week for free when we asked). The house itself had a nice charm to it, was comfortable and seemed to have everything we needed. It was very nice that the house includes beach chairs for all. The kitchen and Master Bath were extremely nice. We had a personal chef come in and cook two meals for the group, and the the kitchen seemed to suit him well as it did for the morning breakfasts we cooked. If there was any downside to the house, it it is that it doesn't have any type of out door deck open to the sun and a view. There is a screened in porch, but that is kind of secluded and on the darker side. But the Zen pool for the community, which is very close to house, was terrific and helped to offset not having that deck with a view. On the island itself, we highly recommend going to the Ocean Club (Ocean front golf course) in the early evening for drinks or dinner, going for long bike rides on the beach, hanging on the beach, visiting the amenities at the Sanctuary Hotel including the main pool and bar, the Harris Teeter at Fresh Fields Village, happy hour at the Zen Pool:), the splash park at Night Heron Park, and biking around the island. It was a terrific vacation, and the Cottage played a nice role for us."

"We were 4 couples and the house was perfect.it gave us lots of privacy but great gathering places when we wanted to be together.
The house is in Avery good position for biking ,walking to the beach.
We would certainly recommend the house to friends or rent it again ourselves.
The owner was a pleasure to deal with and made it very easy for us to rent."
