  • Wonderful Cottage!

"We just got back from a week long stay at this great cottage! Our family of four fit perfectly in this newly remodeled and super cute cottage. If you are going to stay in a Greenslake Cottage -- we think this is definitely the best location. There is a little secret path that you can walk or bike to the pool and allows easy beach access. No more than a 7 minute walk to a gorgeous spot on the beach! The cottage has a front and back yard for kids to play -- and a beautiful lagoon view with lots of wildlife. The cottage is fully stocked and has everything you will need for a wonderful island getaway! Highly recommend this spot!"

  • Family Gathering

"The house was beautiful, location perfect, and looking out onto the ocean from the deck every morning was a beautiful way to start the day. We were a bit concerned that the house might be too small for 10 people but we felt we each had enough space. The great room area was a prime gathering spot. What sets this apart from some beach locations is the vegetation that grows between the beach and the houses. It holds birds and wildlife. Each morning we were greeted by birdsongs and had wildlife sightings in the evenings."

  • Really Nice!

"The house is tastefully decorated and spacious. The location is perfect. The pool is just up the street and we usually had it to ourselves. We rode bikes to the beach, but it is walkable. We cooked all our meals at the house and the kitchen had everything we needed."

  • Amazing House, Beautiful Island, Perfect Week

"My girlfriend and I flew down to Charleston, South Carolina recently, rented a car, and headed to Kiawah Island.A quick drive brought us to the gated community that we fell in love with over the next several days. First, we had to pick up our keys from the front desk; however, this was no ordinary front desk. The doorman opened the door and escorted us inside. We were given packets (very helpful) filled with activities around the island, good food spots, and a map of Kiawah. Anything we need, they said, just call. Kind, generous, oozing with southern hospitality. The cottage was gorgeous. Straight out of a Pottery Barn magazine, every detail was perfect. Plenty of seating, great kitchen (we loaded up with groceries from the on-island grocery store a mile down the road), beautiful furniture, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on, ample linens, towels, toiletries, you name it - it was there and there was a lot of it. We did not go without. And any questions we had, we picked up the phone, pressed the "Front Desk" button and questions were answered. They even have a complimentary shuttle service that will take you anywhere on the island whenever you want. There is a button for that, as well. Luxury Living, I tell you. We did not suffer while in this lovely home. Grill on the porch we used several times to cook some ribeyes, tuna steaks, and BBQ chicken. When we weren't at the house, we were walking to the beach which is about a 5 minute walk, door-to-sand. Or we were at the pool with a pool-side bar and restaurant - complimentary towel-service there as well. This house is in the perfect location. Aside from the cottage, we took full advantage of the island whenever possible. Tennis lessons, beach trips, pool trips, biking the island (bike paths weave throughout the island), kayaking the Kiawah River (with the dolphins playing less than 10 feet away), spotting alligators (from a distance), and being pampered at the nearby Sanctuary spa. If you want luxury and comfort coupled with adventure, this is your next destination. Very happy to write this review and hope it conveys even half of the satisfaction that we have after staying here. Amazing house, beautiful island, perfect week."
