"Condo was well equipped, location was very good, easy walk to the beach. Photos were true to the actual unit. The only problem we had - outside lighting was out all week, very dark to enter. Front stairs were not cleaned after a Friday night storm, no broom in unit so had to deal with debris all week. We would recommend this unit and stay there again."

  • Dream location for family with young children

"To start with owner was responsive and wonderful to work with. We received helpful information prior to our arrival to get started planning. We could not have wanted more in terms of location. A simple walk across the parking lot of the villa brought us to the boardwalk over the dunes to the beach. We were a very short walk to the Night Heron Pool/Nature Center. The nature center was a nice place to spend some time on a rainy day. The pool was a great option for some later evening swimming as well as a low-key pool-side lunch or dinner. Wednesday evening there was a event for kids/families at Night Heron Park. Night Heron Park also had a small, 9-hole frisbee golf course. The beach was perfect. My husband noted, that although there were many families in the area, the beach never felt crowded. The beach is great for biking, so we biked west to the end of the island where it meets the Kiawah River one morning as well and on another morning to the east for some more desolate beaches. Bike trails abounded for island exploration and we looked for the watch towers to view the marshes. The villa was clean and had a nice, recently renovated kitchen. The pull-out sofa in the living room accommodated our 7- and 9-year old children well. The kitchens as well-stocked for its size, and the outdoor porch was great for for outside dining. Should we return to Kiawah, we will definitely attempt to rent this villa!"

  • Wonderful!

"This place had everything we needed, was so clean and was very tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable, just as comfortable as our bed at home, which is something that is not always the case with a rental. The beach was a very close walk and the area around the condo was very quiet and peaceful. We spent two of the days riding bikes all over the island, which was a lot of fun. Never quite figured out the Wifi situation but we were so busy, for once it didn't matter. It was kind of nice to be "unplugged" anyway. It was a great vacation!"

  • Perfect balance of price and location

"We stayed in Mariner's watch last year and chose the same location this year. Such a short walk to the beach and a calming view of the marsh from the screened porch. The resort has a lot of activities that are complimentary so we could have some fun with the kids when we weren't in the beach. We had some initial concerns around bedding accommodations when we arrived. We contacted the owner and she responded quickly and addressed our concerns so we were able to enjoy our week on vacation. This condo was a nice getaway on beautiful Kiawah Island."
