"My wife and I stayed for 7 nights, we had the most wonderful relaxing time watching the wildlife, walking, cycling on the beach and paths. Great sunrises and sunsets. Everybody we met was very friendly and helpful. The property is lovely and very well equipped and maintained with ample room for 2 people. The resort privelages were a plus as we could use the pools and complimentary transport on the island. The property is located about 100 yards from the boardwalk leading direct onto the beach. Great location .Supermarket in the area called Freshields which was great for stocking up. Also Bohicket Marina was great for watching the sunsets while having a meal and listening to live music. Can't thank Jane the owner enough for the quick and helpful attendance to any queries we had. We had a fantastic time and hope to return in the future."

"If its cheerful, bright photographs have caught your eye as you're searching for a vacation home, imagine how you'll feel staying in this "treehouse!" Every time I walked into this villa from one of our adventures, I couldn't help but smile! The owners are the most gracious hosts, and have thought of everything to make you feel comfortable, from books, DVDs, snacks, lovely smelling soaps and lotions to well-equipped laundry and kitchen areas. I appreciated how easy it was to contact them with any questions. This was my first vacation rental and I anticipated all sorts of problems, but this was truly easy. This was also our first visit to South Carolina and Kiawah Island. The island is lush and gorgeous and we enjoyed seeing it from our bikes and kayaks. The very short walk to the beach is quite scenic. One beautiful evening we even saw deer in the brush along the boardwalk. We were also happily surprised by how much we enjoyed the historical sights in Charleston, which is an easy drive from Kiawah. The owners supplied us with plenty of information about the sights and places to eat, and we followed many of their tips. We especially enjoyed the Yorktown Aircraft Carrier Museum, Fort Sumter and the Middleton Plantation. The crazy thing about this vacation for us was that neither of us golf, yet the island is promoted with golf as the main attraction. Don't let your lack of golfing plans deter you! There is plenty of inspiring things to do that do not involve aggravating little white balls! The villa was a memorable place to stay and I would go back to the "French Treehouse" and Kiawah Island without hesitation."

"This villa was just right for our family, with its 3 bedrooms and well-outfitted kitchen. The location is great - truly a very short walk to the beach, and a nice lagoon view. The beach here is so uncrowded - very relaxing, and the granddaughters loved it. It was our first trip to Kiawah, and we will be back, as our daughter and son-in-law are at Charleston AFB. The owner is great - thank you, Cathy!"
