"Great house to gather the family together. Our adult kids, teenagers, and grandchild spent a week at this beautiful property. Plenty of room for all with private bathrooms for each bedroom. The common areas are spacious. Recommend bikes to get to the beach, so bring or rent. The kitchen and dining room have everything you need for fixing family meals. The island ice maker came in handy and a big hit with our curious two year old grandson. The deck and screened in porch were great evening gathering places. I have never seen so many stars in the sky. Truly amazing."

"This place was great. Everyone was pleasantly surprised that it was as nice and as big as it was. The pics don't do it justice. Our group was comprised of three married couples and two teenage girls. The girls shared the attached large "apartment" above the garage, and the rest of us had our own bedrooms with spacious bathrooms. The master suite is especially nice and huge.
The walk to the beach is about 15-20 minutes max and takes you through a beautifully manicured neighborhood, across a short bridge over a small lake. The beach is beautiful and frankly, barely populated. If you take a bike it's five minutes from house to beach. Harris Teeter (grocery) is about a10 minute drive and is very well stocked. Turtle Point golf course is a two minute drive, and this home is located on one of its holes (the back deck was good for watching bad golf and one really big alligator).
We spent a week there and thoroughly enjoyed the deck, the small pool (the water somehow remained comfortably cool despite the 95+ degree temps) and huge screened in porch complete with two ceiling fans. We cooked on location every day, breakfast and dinner. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prep pretty much anything. (Of course you bring your own food!) Used the gas grille on three or four occasions.
The home is tastefully decorated with Danish teak furnishings throughout. I highly recommend this home. We had one minor question for Jill the owner and she responded within minutes.
Finally, is this place 100% perfect? No, of course not. It's a home, and as with all homes, there will always be one or two things that can use a little TLC. Did it exceed our expectations? Absolutely. You won't be disappointed. We were glad we found this place!"

"My wife and I have had two recent stays at this property. Our first was in early spring with two other couples we travel with regularly. This house is perfect for 3 couples who love to cook, golf, bike and enjoy the natural beauty of Kiawah. The house and setting are terrific and we enjoyed grilling out and dining by the pool in the evenings after a day of golf and biking. The heated pool was a huge plus.
More recently, we brought our son and his family. The children loved the beach and the pool. There is an abundance of beach toys and floats at the house. This is a great family spot as well. We look forward to a return visit in the not too distant future."
