"This was our first ever use of VRBO to book a vacation and it could not have been more perfect. Kiawah Island in general, and this property specifically presented a perfect spot for our family vacation. The home was spacious, comfortable, clean and equipped with all the items we needed to make it our home for the week. Everything from booking through check-in and check-out went without a hitch and we encountered no problems of any kind during the week. I would have no hesitation in either returning for a future vacation or recommending to friends who might like a similar experience."

"While the pictures are great, they do not do justice to the spaciousness of this wonderful home. Our family of 10 - 2 daughters, their husbands, and their daughters, ages 8 & 11 and 9 & 12 - had lots of room to spread out and share conversation and fun. The kitchen was perfect for multiple cooks; the living room was great for our crowd enjoying the World Cup and all the windows provided great opportunities to enjoy the beautiful landscaping, the 12th hole of Cougar Point and our "neighbor", the alligator(s).
The owner was great about answering questions before our arrival and responding to a call while we were at his home. The location was excellent - close to the beach and close to shopping at Fresh Fields. We rented bikes from Alligator Bikes and found the bikes (and adult trike) delivered to our doorstep when we arrived.
None of our 4 granddaughters wanted to leave on Saturday. The 12-year-old said she loved "all the activities". They had fished with their dads, kayaked with their moms, played in the surf, ridden their bikes along the trails, flown kites on the beach, enjoyed the Thursday night "dive-in" at The Sanctuary, devoured meals at Chez Fish, the Oceans Clubhouse, and the Loggerhead Grille. The quiet cul-de-sac where the house is located provided a great spot for the girls to ride their bikes while they waited for the next activity.
My only reservation about the home had been its lack of a screened porch. I need not have worried. The deck was a great spot for relaxing with a drink before dinner - it was mosquito free - and had beautiful views of the natural setting, with blue heron, egrets and alligators to entertain (as well as a possible bobcat sighting).
I would definitely recommend this property."

"Kiawah is one of the most beautiful islands on the eastern coast and has been a favorite destination for our family vacations. Our family of eight thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Bedrooms in two separate ends of the house and a large living space made for plenty of room to enjoy both togetherness and individual space. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped for cooking for that large group; we also appreciated the grill. The small screened in porch (space for 4-5) made for pleasant breakfasts and evening gatherings. This was our first stay on the marsh side of the island, but bikes made the trip to the beach easy. Navigating the busy intersection with Island Parkway was the only challenge; after that a quick 5 minute bike ride had us with our toes in the ocean. The owner was completely helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay again!"

"Four couples rented this beautiful home for our annual golf getaway. It couldn't have been more perfect! This fabulous home was beautifully decorated, with comfortable furnishings and beds, very clean and equipped with every imaginable item you might possibly need. It was a short five minute walk to the beach. Excellent restaurants and shopping were only a short distance away. If you are a walker or bike rider, this is a great area. We highly recommend and would definitely rent again if we are in the area!"
