  • Great place to stay!

"My family visited Kiawah Island a second time for our annual beach trip. Last year we stayed at one of the Night Heron cottages which had been newly renovated but still was dirty with way more bugs than we like to see on vacation. We definitely preferred the Tennis Club Villa even though it was a longer (but pretty easy 10 minute bike ride). Our villa accommodated our family of 5 perfectly. Linens were new and plenty and the kitchen was fully stocked."

  • Lovely Cottage

"The cottage location was amazing - it was great being so close to the beach! We had a lovely vacation and this was our first time on Kiawah Island. The beds were comfortable and the unit was clean. The management company was very responsive and handled all issues promptly. There were many wonderful things about this property: 1. location, location, location - it can't be beat. 2. It is bigger than the pictures, we were very pleasantly surprised. 3. new grill. There are a few things that I would change: 1. Kiawah is very dark and there is no light outside the unit, you can't see anything. It was very difficult to reach the door, we used cell phone lights and flashlights. 2. they need internet instructions. Luckily my husband is an IT professional and was able to get things up and running for us, but I doubt future visitors will have internet access. The house was family friendly and having a washer/dryer was very helpful. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, but could use some more pots. I would recommend this cottage and would like to return next summer."

  • An excellent vacation "home" - Two years in a row!

"This is the second year we've stayed at this lovely home, and it didn't disappoint. This house feels like the home of a friend, not an anonymous vacation rental. The interiors are beautiful and comfortable for active families. The kitchen is well stocked with go-to pots, pans and other tools. And the layout artfully combines extremely generous space (high ceilings, 5 BRs, solid new construction, etc) and intimacy with an open kitchen/family room area looking out over the pool. Everyone can 'hang out' together even while doing separate things. It's only a brief walk to the beach, but rental bikes allow even more exploration and freedom of transportation. I'd recommend reserving bikes in advance (despite easy access in years past, we found them all sold out this time). We will be back as soon as possible!"

  • Great Cottage

"We really enjoyed our stay at this nice cottage. Everything was beautiful inside and it was well equipped with everything we needed. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and the owner was so kind and responsive. An easy bike ride or walk to the beach, but also nice to drive our car to the nearby Night Heron Park when we had lots of beach items in tow, which made an even easier access to the beach. Great place for families with teenagers, as the park is a fun place to play. Thank you for a fun vacation!"
