  • Really pleased with location and property...our second stay!

"This villa is a great getaway...very enjoyable for our family of four. It was tastefully decorated with attractive furnishings...the master bedroom was serene and had a bed that was extra comfortable. The newly remodeled master bath was an added bonus, it exceeded our expectations. It truly is a five minute walk from the beach...very convenient. The owners made themselves available before, during and even after our stay when I lost my keys. Because they personally use the villa, it was clean and well kept...everything you need! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends. The tree canopy over the bike trails provides shade that makes riding pleasant all day...our favorite past time! We were very happy to discover that Harris Teeter had taken over the previous market, there is no need to buy groceries elsewhere, the prices were quite reasonable. Nice wine selection as well. Kiawah is one of our favorite vacations!"

  • 2014 beach vacation

"Our family of four, plus grandparents enjoyed a great week on Marsh Hawk. The large kitchen was well stocked and the upgraded appliances were a plus. Spent many evenings around the large dining room table playing games and recapping the days activities. Short drive to Charleston was nice, made that trek twice (make sure to visit Patriot's Point). Teenage boys enjoyed biking around the island. Had my parents use the master suite, due to the large walk-in shower, but the second bedroom was also very large and had the same great view. The beds were very comfortable. Susan, the owner, was great to work with and quick to answer all of our questions."

  • Wonderful Home!

"How exciting to wake up, walk out on the deck, and watch an alligator gliding across the lagoon! Each of the beds were comfy and the large kitchen was good because we like to cook. Having some bikes there helped us to avoid bringing so many and we really enjoyed the short, lovely ride to Boardwalk 30. Kiawah's beach is never crowded. All of us enjoyed watching an outside movie on Wednesday night and listening to the live music on Friday night over on the lawn at Freshfields. Great owner, super vacation. Thank you. ."

  • Perfect cottage for a family getaway

"The cottage is even prettier in person with really nice details and finishes, from counter tops to the tiles on the bathroom floors to the adorable, vintage-like small mirror stand sitting on the bathroom counter. It has a perfect layout for a family with the master bedroom with bath on one side of the cottage with the living room separating the two other bedrooms on the other side adjoined by a Jack and Jill bathroom. I also liked that the one bedroom with the twin beds had a small hallway with a door that closed to the main living space. For our family of 5, it was just the right size and space and so conveniently located to Night Heron pools (which are included in this rental), the tennis center, the beach and even Fresh Fields Village--all accessible by bike. Every room has a flat screen television, the kitchen is modern and overall the whole place was immaculate, well decorated, well stocked (beach/sand toys, chairs, wagon, etc.) and well managed. The owner was so helpful before the trip with answering any questions, and I would recommend this cottage to anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay in Kiawah with lots of great amenities. This cottage was definitely a great home away from home and I cannot wait to return and have my friends check it out too. You will not regret it!"
