"Love the location of this Villa, just a short walk to the beach. The island was very quiet during our stay and the weather just great. The Villa is very nice and comfortable and clean. We stayed in this Villa summer of 2013, also. That should tell you that we like it. We like the fact that no smoking is allowed and no pets are allowed. The owner is very pleasant to rent from."

"As stated in previous reviews, this home is gorgeous and well planned out! We were not disappointed in any of the rooms. We were traveling with another family and had a total of 4 adults with 5 grown kids (ages 23-18). There was plenty of room for us to do our own things w/o being on top of each other. The kitchen is huge and has all the tools needed for just about anything you want to make. I really like having the Utility Room just off the kitchen w/ beach towels, beach bag, and beach blankets. The only thing we wanted but didn't find was Champagne Flutes, that is something they could add. The beds were all comfortable. Not one single complaint from our 5 kids says it all!!! The fact that every bedroom had its own bathroom made it so easy when we were all getting ready to go out. LOVED having the pool! It was a welcome relief from the hot sun after being at the beach or on a nice bike ride. We have stayed on Kiawah for over 15 years and this place was the best yet, we will definitely be back. Helpful Hint: It is a 10 minute bike ride to the beach, so rent a bike w/ a cart. You can put chairs, coolers, and bags on it. I have to add that my experience dealing with the owner was outstanding, and I can ask a lot of questions! Caroline manages the house and she was just as easy to talk to; checked on us regularly and gave good recommendations. Kiawah and the surrounding area are so much fun theres biking, hiking, beach, wildlife, great restaurants, THE SANCTUARY, & shopping just to name a few, they have it all.
Thank you Yvette for a wonderful place to stay on our family trip!"

"This beautiful villa is such a perfect getaway spot. The villa itself is very nice, clean, and cozy. It is located in a quiet area just steps from the beach. The main bed is unbelievably comfortable! The sofa bed (which looked and felt very new) was also surprisingly comfortable with a nice memory foam mattress. This allowed for us all to be so well rested after long days of Kiawah activities. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need if you decide to cook, except for the food of course. But fret not, as Freshfields Village is minutes away. Overall the villa was a perfect home base for our beach vacation.
The island of Kiawah itself in incredible. If you have never been, stop what you are doing, call out of work, pack the car, and go. It has something for everyone from the world class golf courses to the wonderful and very spacious beaches to the hiking and biking trails. Definitely take some time to explore the island and drive to the north end for amazing scenery and views.
Kiawah, and this villa come highly recommended by me. I've stayed here twice and will certainly be back again."

"Our family of 5 (including a 19-year-old and 13-year-old twins), enjoyed our summer vacation at this villa. We have visited Kiawah many times, during many different seasons, and this was perhaps our most enjoyable trip yet! The villa itself is so welcoming the moment you walk in, with natural light streaming in the windows from across the lagoon. The colors and decor have a definite beach vibe, and the updated cabinetry and countertops add a touch of elegance. The kitchen is well-stocked, and includes some extras (griddle, crockpot, cookie sheets). Living room recliners are super-comfy, and the dock is a great place for morning coffee. We had the pleasure of entertaining a large alligator (approx. 9 ft. long) several evenings below the dock. There are ample backpack-style beach chairs for your use, although both of the umbrellas were broken when we arrived. There are also boogie boards, skim boards, beach toys, frisbees, and numerous other fun items in the hall closet for your use. The reading library is also great! The close proximity to Night Heron Park/Pool and the beach makes it a perfect location for families. We were able to enjoy a spectacular fireworks display on the Fourth, one from the Sanctuary and one from the park. The twins had a blast at Laser Tag in the park, and we could even sit on the dock and enjoy the live music from there as well. Carol was an absolute joy to work with, and so thoughtful in keeping us up-to-date, both before our vacation and during, about events going on on the island. I can't say enough good things about our visit; we will visit this villa again!"
